What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
Good Morning everyone!!! I've been on my run and even did an hour of yard work after my run. If I play my cards right I can possibly triple my move goal on my Apple Watch for the first time. I'm leaving to meet with my nutritionist soon. I look forward to processing where I am now with her. Sometimes it takes an outsider to help you realize the sky isn't falling.
Qotd: I don't volunteer. Right now my son has to do 30 hours for school and it's really hard to find things for him to do. I like to say I do a lot of charity work at work, since I can't earn overtime.

Good morning everyone~ It raining out which I like cuz I'm home but so muggy, yuck. Anyway - we are going to do some shopping, go out for lunch then home for cleaning, chores... the usual, but low key. There will Netflix as well. I slept really well last night but I'm still emotionally drained from this week.

Good morning menu friends. No horse pics today as it's really overcast to the point I couldn't get a pretty picture. Really cold here today--40 and very brisk wind. I bundled up and Lily and I walked for 50 minutes before we got too cold and came back in. We had severe storms last night so the woods were too wet so we walked on the road instead. We'll probably take another short walk later the other way on the road to get our 4 miles in. I didn't bring a heavy coat so bundled up in 4 layers instead. Hello my Saturday peeps!
Yesterday I finally gave up on getting my computer and all peripherals functional, and called in a pro. He was able to get my old printer functioning again - yay! I will keep the replacement printer I bought just cause I love this one so much, and got such a good price on it's duplicate. I did switch out the new monitor for the old one though - I went back down to 24" instead of 27", because I like to be able to see the rest of the room, and the 27" one kind of blocked things. I have no idea why I waited so long to call in the cavalry! All those trips to Best Buy, all that money spent unnecessarily replacing components, all that frustration could have been spared had I just admitted defeat earlier. Oh well, I'm happy to finally be fully functional again! Onward to lots of Photoshop & Illustrator fun!I
My blind cat kept me up all night last night. She was agitated and prowling, and meowing her little head off. I'd get up and pet her, talk to her, and she would be calm, but the moment I went back to bed she'd start up again. She would enjoy being on my bed but as soon as I stopped petting her, down she would jump, and the whole cycle would repeat. I gave her extra food, which she enjoyed, but it didn't absorb her for long. Her blindness and deafness are really taking a toll on us both! But I love her, and I know she can't help it.
QOTD: I want to volunteer up here, but just need to figure out in what way. Still exploring.
First: tea with cashew milk
B: ham & smoked gouda
L: Greek yogurt with a little Cinnamon Buns protein mixed in
D: turkey, smoked gouda
Wishing everyone a lovely day!

Thanks Karen! She's always been a wonderful cat, calm and smart and friendly and beautiful, and very well-behaved. I owe her for all those good years, and, of course, I love her. I just have to be careful to monitor her sister's reactions to my increased attentiveness to her blind sib. Last night she (the sighted sister) seemed a little miffed at all the attention Mia was being paid. I don't want her to feel slighted, because she's an absolutely great cat, too.
Good Saturday Evening,
QOTD: My husband and I donate time and money to the local animal shelter.
Menu:
B: 1 scrambled egg and 1/2 C raspberries
L: 2 slices of American cheese with 2 ounces of deli ham with horseradish mustard
S: chocolate PP shake
D: 1/2 C romaine lettuce, 1 perfect portion chicken, a little red onion and 3 black olives sliced with Braggs vinaigrette dressing
totals: calories 680 protein 82
Lots of water and a little crystal light
