I'm On My Way!!

I haven't been on this forum before. I had originally planned to have a sleeve but ultimately decided that I felt RNY was a much better choice for me. I began my journey on June 20th - had to do a doctor supervised diet for my insurance carrier. My doctor told me that he wanted me to lose 35 pounds before surgery - well, I lost 24 pounds the first 3 weeks....and the day of my surgery 11/30/17 I had lost 71 pounds. It is an awesome feeling...I am four months post-op and am down 140 pounds and have about 40 pounds to go to hit my initial goal weight....will probably end up adjusting it but I am elated.
