What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to cry this morning on the way to work. It's so cold. I'm so ready for warmer weather. I have an appointment to get my tires changed over on the weekend. I think I'm a jinx. Get them off? Snow. Keep them on? Sun. What to do?? LOL

Accountability: Was ok. not perfect. Ate too much, all good food, but too much of it. 'm a work in progress. I will celebrate that I haven't had any of those granola bars. WOO HOO! ( On another note I think those damn things helped with my bathroom issues. Devils that they are!!)

QOTD: I have a sister and brother, and have TONS of cousins. My parents come from large families. Good Catholics here!! HAHAHAHA! It's always been great for family parties! At Christmas for my mom's side of the family we used to rent tables, chairs and dinnerware. LOL I loved it. As time goes on though we have lost a lot of family, so now we don't need to rent anything. Cancer SUCKS!! Friend wise I have a few who I consider family.

Menu:

Breakfast: Tea with restoralx, greek yogurt with flax

Snack: 10oz skim milk with 1 scoop of protein powder. (vanilla ice cream cone) I find this one super filling.

Lunch: Haven't had it yet as I'm still full from my shake but have planned 2 Chicken skewers from Costco, with some spicy mayo for dipping.

Snack: based on how late things are going? Not going to be needed, but I have 3 pieces of salami and 3 pieces of cheese.

Supper: Chili, 1 cup.

Snack: Nothing planned. I have tons of healthy go to pre portioned food in the fridge, and my house is treat free. But I think I'm FINALLY having a small pouch day again! WOO HOO!

Exercise: Laundry, scrub the floors and bathrooms. If I get done in time? Water aerobics. I went to go to the gym last night. Walked in and changed. Went to treadmill and got on. Lady comes by and asks me to move as that's her favorite machine. All other machines are in use, and I'm in the middle of a learn to run program and DYING. I decline. She asks me again. I still keep going. She then decides to stand there and tell EVERYONE how rude I am and all she wants is for me to get off HER machine. After about 10 mins of this crap. I got off and went home. Mad at myself for leaving, mad at her. I was just tired and done, and didn't have the energy to deal with her. I wouldn't have been nice, and that would have made me look bad.

Starting a self defence class on Sunday!! I need to get a female groin protector. I was panicking that I wouldn't get one to fit me!! I still don't see me at this size. All I see is the obese me. Especially with the extra pounds I have on. I feel like I'm 365 pounds again.

OK that lady was rude. I do understand it getting to be to much and leaving. I would say something to the staff and ask- How do you suggest I handle this in the future?

I also understand liking your regular treadmill but get over it.

I took a Krav Maga class for awhile with men, and one day this guy hit me a little too hard in the abdomen, I stopped after that. Turns out I had a hernia.... so get that protector!

Hello everyone,

Good for you Daizy for getting right back on track! Great deal on the protein coffee!

QOTD: To make a long story short. I used to have a very large extended family but they were all older and most have since passed on.

Accountability: On plan. I've been trying to change things up to get that damn scale to start moving again. Over all i'm up a few pounds it varies day to day. Instead of doing the Boars Head cold cuts I'm now buying fresh turkey breast and baking or smoking it myself. I'm upping my greens and trying to up my calories a little bit. Next week I will eat a 1/2 orange with a couple of breakfasts. Fingers crossed!

B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast sausage

L: 3oz roasted turkey breast

S: 2 oz low sodium ham

D: 2oz flank steak. 2oz roasted turkey breast, 1/2C broccoli rabe

Cals:708, Carbs:8, Protein:100

I hope your changes help get the scale moving!! I like Boars Head a lot, but I'll take fresh or fresh smoked any day -SO MUCH BETTER!
