What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
I go to conference this weekend in Dallas. Friday is supposed to be.beautiful but I will be indoors all day! It is cooler this morning so long sleeves and pants. Sandals will have to wait.
I have 3 siblings with 7 neicrs and nephews. But my sister has 9 grandsons! I have 1 aunt and 1 uncle still living but am not close to parents families. I tend to shy away from large family events. I don't like all the noise and chaos.
I have to drink light roast coffee for now. Hurts tummy if not careful. The protein idea is interesting though. I have bought unflavored protein powder to use in cooking to meet goal daily.
B. Eggface blueberry ricottage pancakes with sf syrup
L protein squash casserole , eggface "deviled" egg
S premier protein latte (freeze the drink and add espresso)
D ham and asparagus
S apple slices

Good morning :)
After a day or so of what I thought was muscle pain ended up last night as very bad abdominal pain on the right side. And then a while later all the pain was gone. So I'm wondering if maybe it was a gallbladder attack. I will call my doctor/midwife today and see if I need to do anything as the pain is basically gone now.
Today I need to take our car in for an oil change. The shop is next to a plaza with Value Village so I will probably do some thrifting while I'm there ;)
QOTD: my family was relatively large as my mom has three sisters, and then we added in a bunch of blending. I have a step-sister and two half-siblings. Last family gathering there were about 24 of us with all my cousins and partners. I love it. My stepdads family and DHs family are both relatively small and I find their holiday gatherings are quite boring by comparison. Yet no less drama ;)
Post-op three years and one month.
Breakfast - protein bar
Snack - cheese and crackers
Lunch - cheese and pepperoni melts
Snack - apple and pb
Dinner - tbd
Snack - fake cheesecake
All water and vits.
Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!
QOTD: Growing up it was just my parents & my brother until I turned 12, then my baby brother was born and also my 14 year old cousin came to live with us after his parents were killed in a car accident, so I gained a baby brother and an older "brother" the same year. Now it's just my daughter, Saralisa, and myself, but my brother, Paul had 8 kids (many of who have spouses & children now, so he now has 11 grandkids! My "baby" brother has 3 kids and my cousin who came to live with us has 3 kids, so family gatherings are huge.E

Good morning. Still holding firm, so accountability has been near perfect. My incentive plan is keeping me motivated. I went to spin again this morning. I'm starting to get the hang of it now, but it's still really hard for me ;)
QOTD - I have a terribly small family and sadly many have passed. I have one aunt and uncle left from my mother's side and only 6 cousins. Thankfully we stay close to my sister-in-law (my brother passed away just before 9/11) and we get to see my niece and nephew a few times a year. Otherwise it's just a couple of family events a year. Same story for my wife - nice brother and crazy sister (she's seriously weird). She's the honest definition of a narcissist. My wife has her on speaker when they talk and my wife will be telling her about things that are happening and she will always interrupt and say you are boring me - then go on to talk about her new dress and how good she looks in it... I'm always entertained by her (sorry - got sidetracked).
B - 2 oz cottage cheese and 1 1/2 hard boiled eggs; mixed with salsa into egg salad
S - Trader Joe's International plain yogurt and .5 oz mixed nuts
L - Going out with a group so either Thai Beef Salad or Pancake house/Cafe for a Chicken in a salad
S - A few slices of hard salami (1.2 oz) and .8 oz cheese
D - Small Salad and 3 oz Brisket
S - SF popsicles
I'm starting to see the needle move again and I'm beginning to flit with 1xx on the scale. I'm hoping by Sunday to cross into Onederland. I haven't seen that number since 1995 or maybe even mid eighties.

Good morning! The ride in was FRIGID! I am still cold, 2.5 hours later. Thankfully, when I ride it means 15-20 minutes, not the 60-70 minute walk. Accountability was crap yesterday, so today and the rest of the week is all about the pouch and profound brain things when it comes to food. Just had a rough day yesterday and let my brain continue to fart well into the evening as a bad reaction to stress. Re-read my pre-op notes though and I'm back.
Menu: Protein bars for breakfast and lunch, shakes for snacks. Supper I think will be salmon with veggies and there won't be an opportunity for an evening snack, unless I have a recovery shake after my gym trip. That I can allow. I mix in a tsp of decaf instant in with the ice and it's pretty awesome.
QOTD: I have an average sized family (pun intended?). 2 sisters, a handful of cousins on both sides but we aren't close outside of my immediate family. It used to be closer, but as time goes on and people move, it just happens as family tree branches spread and grow. We're all kinda nuts when there's a family reunion though. Those provincial park pavilions don't know what hit them. LOL
I'm intrigued by this Lonolife coffee pod thing. I am a coffee snob and I allow a bit of regular (non-decaf) into my diet (usually once per day, 2x max, which they say is fine as long as the rest is decaf, and to keep up with my water).
Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve! Daisy, so sorry to hear about the bad weather and what it did to your parents house. Stay safe!
Accountability: No snacking day 2!
QOTD: Very small family. My sister and I, she has one son and we have Em. A few of our close friends are considered Em's aunts/uncles.

Looks like you mean no "unplanned" snacking, since you plan snacks in, correct? I find that I have to have planned snacks to avoid the unplanned ones!
