QOTD: I am not bothered by many words, but I really can't stand the word Horny. it sounds so vulgar and it has the exact OPPOSITE affect on me when I hear it. Speaking of words we don't like, how about names? There is a furniture store here in Florida which has big billboard advertisements. The company is Bad****, which autocorrect just tried to change to Bab**** Nope, the first is correct - I had to look more than once when I saw the sign. I'd have to change my name...

Howdy,
Had a less than stellar day with food yesterday but I knew that I wasn't going to be a good girl and planned the calories according but not the carbs. I had a protein shake double scoop of isopure in morning that I nursed. Some turkey chili for lunch (small amount) , ham and cheese rollup and then shared a medium popcorn with my son at the movie theater. I came home and ate a piece of real bread with ham on it. Thats what happens when you eat carbs. You just want more.
QOTD: Not sure what words I hate or love but intonation can change any "pretty" word into an "ugly" one.
Food for the day:
Coffee with Fairlife ff milk
2 eggs with cheese and ham lunch
Dinner: Chicken or turkey with veggies
Snack: Yogurt low carb
Babs in GA

QOTD: I have a slight different relationship with language/words. English not being my first language doesn't affect me the way my own language does. Most of the cuss words are not as visceral to me. In fact when I had just moved here I kept using "I'm so pissed" because DH was using it and in my head it meant I'm upset. Until my boss at work asked me if I knew what it meant. When he explained to me the literal meaning I was mortified and never used it again. The other was crabby vs crappy. At one point I had to sit DH down and explain to him that I am learning from him all the words that I'm not supposed to use at work so he had to watch his language around me. He said it was cute the way I was using "his" words...NOT!! This was about 20 years ago, thank goodness I have learned! :-)
Words that I can't use no matter what is Dick (for Richard), how in the heck Richard became Dick? I have a guy at work named Dick Harding!! WTH?!?!? I go out of my way not to call him by name. In emails I always say Richard.
Wed : Hump day...it makes me blush!
Accountability: last night an Atkins snack bar found its way into my mouth!
B: protein shake
L: chicken skewers and broccoli
S: 1 oz cheese & 2 oz turkey slice
D: turkey chili
Have a great Wed.
