Good morning menu folks! Just a quick stop to say hi since this is my first day back in the office and I feel swamped. Not sure if I will make it all day since I've been teleworking and resting most days, but I will see how long I can go.
Accountability: yesterday was a busy day but I packed string cheese and protein shakes and stuck to plan.
Take care!

Good morning :)
We had a good but relatively quiet Easter weekend. My parents live several hours away so we only see them a few times a year. I don't have much planned today, just a few small errands.
I have to say I'm really struggling mentally with gaining weight. I know I'm supposed to - the clinic suggests 15-20 pounds and I'm technically below that because of losing weight when I was sic****ep thinking about how much work it will be having to lose the weight yet again.
QOTD: I'm super stubborn and hate receiving criticism. Even constructive criticism can be annoying. Hypocritically I don't mind handing it out ;)
Post-op three years.
Breakfast - protein bar
Snack - apple and pb
Lunch - leftover burger
Snack - Greek yogurt
Dinner - leftover burger and veggies
Snack - fake cheesecake
All water and vits.
Good Morning! I am glad you guys had an awesome weekend. It's always a bonus when your team wins-I wish the A's had done better at the game we went to.
Accountability: Once again, last night I ate all the food when we got home from viewing a few houses. I need to rein things in big time. I am committed to no extra snacking tonight!
QOTD: Honestly, I internalize and process it..unless it's my hubby then I for some reason I am more defensive (I realize that probably should be the opposite).

Good morning. Accountability yesterday was perfect, but the weekend was terrible with all the holiday eating. I'm going on vacation in 7 weeks and I want to be below the hard cap weight (that weight you never go above again - for me that's 190). So I've decided on the big push to get there before vacation. That way I'll be incented to stay below that number on vacation, given the work it will take. So I listed 7 things I would like, but just won't buy myself and I earn one each week (ending with a new $75 Gym Bag that has more shoe compartments for spinning class). I'm struggling a little with my exercise program because I love swimming, but I need to branch out. I started with spinning and the instructor today was saying I should consider the circuit training workout on the days I swim. I'll have to figure that one out ;) Going from almost immobile to too many exercise choices is an interesting situation for me now. That great thing about the 7 items, is I really want them and if I don't earn the item - it's crossed off the list. Some are books I want to read, so I don't want to lose them. It will be interesting 7 weeks.
QOTD - I too have been taught - criticism and/or feedback is a gift. So I listen and ask clarifying questions and say thank you. However, I can get very defensive if I think the intent is intended to tear me down vs. build me up, or just plain wrong/unfair. I've received valid criticism in a mean spirited manner and I tell the person thank you for your feedback, but not your words. Thankfully I know only a few people who are just mean, so this doesn't happen often.
