Oh...the GURGLING!!!

I am 7 years post op. MY belly is constantly gurgling with anything I put in it...it has never lessened since the surgery. It is especially noisy after coffee or water. IS there ANYTHING that can be done to decrease or eradicate the noise? I can live with the feeling but it gets downright embarrassing.

I had to laugh, a little, as I read your post, as MY guts are currently gurgling...as I am sipping hot tea...

I've been living with my "talking guts" for nearly 16 years...so I guess I'm not a good person to answer your question :)

Lol I was just hoping that was a side effect of having recently had surgery...sounds like a dinosaur in there.

And apparently not just an RNY issue, as I gurgle all the time with my VSG!

My hubby often jokes the battle of good and evil is being fought in my tummy.

I am almost 10 years out and have gotten used to my gurgles. My kids get embarrassed, though, and usually yell, "For crying out loud, mommy. EAT SOMETHING!!" (they think I am starving but it usually gurgles right after I eat)
