Happy Easter everyone! QOTD I am a practicing United Methodist and very active in my church. I'm a lay speaker and organist every Sunday when I'm home. Hubby and I are traveling with a missions group of the United Methodist church, the Nomads. We are now working for three weeks at a camp for troubled youth, The Outdoor Wilderness Learning Center near Dubach Louisiana. Today we attended church at a large church in Ruston at a contemporary service whic h was new for hubby:4 guitars, keyboard and two drummers along with vocalists. Our church has about 30 people on a Sunday and most are older and very traditional so today was a refreshing change. Post op 5 years 7 months and weight at 118.4 today with food choices very good. Here was food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 1/2 c chicken salad 3 baby carrots D 1 smoked sausage 1 sm apple shared with Lily of course. I've walked 6 miles today and will be taking lots of steps tomorrow pulling skirting and a deck off a trailer that needs to be moved. Karen, youwould love this place as they do equine therapy with the kids and have 60 horses,8 goats,a potbellied pig and a miniature Holstein cow named Buddy.. Picture to follow of my view here tonight.. Hope everyone had a great day full of smart choices!
