The smells!!
I had the same issue for awhile. The smell of most perfumes has always given me a headache, so my mother, who takes a bath in the stuff, never wears it anymore when she's around me. I remember her coming to the hospital after I had surgery and I thought I was going to vomit because I could smell it - must have been on her clothes, because she swore she hadn't put any on. I had to roll over and look at the wall so I wouldn't throw up. It was horrible! Anyway, it does go away after awhile (the intense smell sensitivity, that is...)
For about a week and a half after surgery most things my family cooked smelled so strongly it made me want to get sick - coffee, fish, eggs, vegetables lol. I do find my sense of smell is still much stronger and I have a heightened response to unfavourable smells but it is better than immediately post op and nothing makes me want to throw up anymore. Hopefully your's tones down soon.

Hopefully, because this is awful. I'll adjust if it doesn't but this is very unpleasant. I'm hanging my hat on what yourself and others are reporting that it does become less intense and this is temporary.

I was super sensitive to smells early out too. I drink coffee like crazy now, but right after surgery the smell of brewing coffee just killed me, it smelled horrible. Grease smells still make me sick, but that might be the gallbladder I am nursing so as not to need it removed anytime soon.
