Good morning! Today we are getting ready for hosting dinner tomorrow and going to a friends tonight. Getting ready involves cleaning and food prep.

Accountability: Chocolate chip cookies... I need to get them off the counter as they are in my line of sight too frequently.

QOTD: I love more light, more warmth, and the green that comes in the Spring. It has been all those things here in Florida, but once we go home in 2.5 weeks, it will be early spring on Cape Cod Massachusetts.

2 Years post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Dinner at a friends house

S: Yogurt with strawberries and/or mozzarella/prosciutto sticks and/or nut thins and hummus

Good morning! I'm up unreasonably early for a Saturday because my cat woke me up for breakfast and I can't get back to sleep. We are heading to Kansas City today for a Royals-White Sox game. We plan on checking out the local thrift shops today before the game, and tomorrow is completely up in the air, since things might be closed for Easter, but I'm sure we'll find something before we come back home.

QOTD: gardening, most definitely! I have all my seeds started under a grow light, just waiting for it to finally warm up enough outside! Typically I put everything outside by Mother's Day, but some things are more cold tolerant.

Menu is a bit up in the air but here's what I'm planning:

breakfast (at home): 1 scrambled egg, 1 chicken sausage link

lunch: protein shake will be easiest as well be in the car.

dinner: DH and I will share a meal out somewhere, pending what we find near the stadium. It's KC so it will likely be BBQ.

Mornin'!

Headed out to sunrise yoga in a few, then meeting DH for coffee. Not much else on the agenda today, but that's OK with me!!

accountability - excellent!

QOTD: warm temps, having everything green again!

2 years 9 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop lemon protein powder, sliced strawberries

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

L: not sure - something safe!

D: pork chop with cherry/cranberry sauce, Asian-style slaw

ex: yoga. Might go to the gym later, too

Good Morning Erin and menu family!

A friend of mine and I are going to an Adult Easter Egg hunt at the downtown bars today! She and I won't drink, we'll just hunt for the hidden eggs and do the riddles and dares in the eggs, which should be a lot of fun. We are probably going to look pretty silly, a couple old ladies going around to all the bars amongst a bunch of drunk college age kids, but oh well, we'll have fun!

QOTD: I love it staying light out later in the evening! I love the warmer temperatures! I love everything turning green and flowers sprouting up! I just LOVE Spring!

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 98, Calories - 1,465, Carbs - 139

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: ham & cheese on 45 calorie bread

D: turkey meal

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups

E: Walking around to bars looking for Easter eggs

Have a fun day everyone!

Good morning,

Im going to help my friend pack to move in a couple weeks. She's taking me out to breakfast so I don't know what my food is for today.

Accountability didn't have my lunch because I wasn't hungry. Did have an ice cream cone and some Cadbury mini eggs.

Qotd sunshine, staying light longer and seeing new growth of green things

Good Morning!

Got to sleep in a little bit today which wasn't nice for a change. I really really need to go clothes shopping. Everything is just hanging off me. Think I might hit the second time around clothing store since I don't want to spend too much on something I may not wear long.

QOTD: I also love that it is getting warmer out and staying light longer. Mostly I am looking forward to festival season. Especially music festivals!

B: 2 eggs scrambled mixed with 1 tablespoon cottage cheese

L: protein shake

D: ricotta bake

E: walking

Morning all! How are my favorite pouch peeps? I've been in my run and showered and dressed. I'm about to make a list for the supermarket- which will likely be crazy crowded. I figured out my Easter menu and am pretty excited about it. Had a good visit with my sister yesterday too.

Today im going to finish up a project for work. I have a meeting about it Monday. My son has volunteer hours he has to do. Hubby has to go pick up his car, again. He was in an accident in early February, got the car back in early March. Heard a noise and they found the steering column was cracked. So glad it didn't cause another accident! He's feeling better after being down with strep all week.

Qotd: I look forward to yard work in the spring. My yard looks awful through the winter, and when spring rolls around I've reached my tolerance level looking at it. And of course- the warm weather. I already have a Oman to build a little border wall.

210.5, 2.11 years out

m1: bun and cheese (Jamaican tradition for Easter)

m2: 2 crab cakes

m3 tuna or chicken salad

m4 ? Keeping it light in advance of heavy Easter eating tomorrow

Let me know if you want the recipe we use. I've never found a store bought version that tastes better than our homemade.

Beware; it's not the slightest bit WLS friendly.
