What's on Your Menu Today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Good morning everyone! TGIF! I feel like last week flew by and this one just dragged on forever. The last few days have been pretty hectic and I don't expect that to get any better as we near the tax deadline (I'm in finance.)
Accountability: I caved to a craving last night--ice cream. Some friends called and said they were in my neighborhood at a nearby ice cream place. I went to meet them since they'd wanted to look at some of my clothes I'm getting rid of that will be too big next year (mostly my heavy winter sweaters) so I just brought the bags with me. While I was sitting there, I stole "just a taste" of my friend's sundae, which turned into her grabbing a second spoon and sharing with me. I had only had maybe 4 or 5 bites and about 10 minutes later I was having waves of nausea, hot flashes, and struggling to not puke in public. Suffice to say I ducked out early and went straight to bed. Awful! I don't know if that is dumping, but it was definitely a slap in the face for going off plan.
Qotd: What ultra-mundane things make you excited? For me, I love fresh, clean sheets, new dish sponges, and pens that write really smoothly. Oh! And new notebooks! Can take the teacher out of the classroom, but can't take the classroom out of the former teacher. Or something like that.

Good morning! The last of our major Florida projects was completed yesterday, so we are just going to enjoy our last 2.5 weeks here. DD arrives Sunday for a week and we are hosting friends for dinner on Easter Sunday.
QOTD: The sun shining makes me happy. As does having a completely clean house with all clutter put away (I hate clutter). Checking the last item off a list. Finishing paying the bills for the month (need to do that today).

Good Friday morning!
Sterling is a very handsome fellow and certainly owns that blanket!
I finally had my 1 year appointment with my surgeon (at 13 months) and got a new after picture.
I may also get some picture of my weeping cherry tree that is almost in bloom and my forsythia that survived the snow. They are some of my favorite things about spring.

Thanks, Liz! The profile picture reminds me, however, that I really want a TT.
