What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Almonds and other nuts can be a trigger for me too so I generally don't like to have them in the house.

Nuts are def a trigger for me. I buy the TJ prepackaged ones so I know I can have one little snack bag (when I'm dying for salty nuts) and not go for more. Somehow in my mind that works, but if you give me a whole bag of cashews or almonds I would eat the whole thing.

G'morning all!
Daisy - Your dogs are adorable!!!!
Guys, I have EXCITING news!!!!! I had mentioned to DH about a month ago that next time we go to Tahoe I'd like trying snowboarding. To give you a little background DH is a typical CA boy. He grew up skateboarding, surfing, snow boarding. When he met me he switched to skiing in order to ski with me and I never thought of even learning to snowboard. And of course with the added weight it was completely out of the question. But in the last month or so I felt confident enough that I thought I could at least try. So....DH surprised me last night with tickets to Park City, Utah!! We are leaving for Utah tomorrow Friday and coming back on Mon. One of his buddies is a snowboard instructor there at one of the ski resorts, and DH has booked him for the whole weekend. I am so EXCITED!! And on top of it all I see how happy DH is. The poor guy I held him back from these activities for the last 20 yrs. Now that I am becoming more active he is like a little kid on xmas eve. Every time I propose to do something he goes out of his way to organize everything. Anyway, we are going to Utah for me to learn how to snowboard. Hopefully will report back on Tue all in one piece. :-)

QOTD: Definitely at home and at night. I used to love eating cereal at night. A horrible habit. Let me tell you there's been a big bag of Cinnamon Toast Crunch sitting in my kitchen for the longest time. I tried eating some low-sugar/ high protein Special K with Fairlife milk last year and my body just said "nah I don't think so". Milk with sweet carbs used to be very enjoyable. Thinking back now I'd consume easily 100,000 cals a year on milk and carbs. Probably more. Like a little kid who's mommy forget to put the cookie jar back on the top shelf.
Good afternoon,
I slept in this morning, My friend only called once and didn't show up at my apartment. That made me happy.. Then I putter around the house before I ate breakfast then I exercised before getting on here.
Im going to my Dad's for Easter after I get out of church. My friend might need me to watch her grandkids because they finally closed on their home.
Accountability had Cadbury mini eggs.
