We made it to Thursday everyone, yahoo! How are you all doing? Who has great plans for long weekend and Easter? We have a full weekend, tonight going over to our good friends house for dinner, Saturday going to Costco and taking the dogs for a long 20km hike at the local Provincial Park and giving them a bath. Sunday we are going to see our beloved Blue Jays MLB baseball team play the Yankees & out for dinner. And we have Monday off so most likely that will be a chill day and food prep/chores.

Accountability: spot on, no off plan eating

QOTD: So I have noticed about myself that when I am at work I am not hungry. When I get home from work I am suddenly "hungry." I think its all in my head and that I associate my home with food. I swear that the minute I walk into the house all the food that is off plan calls my name. I think its a combo of being at home, relaxing and having access to the kitchen. At work I am busy, no kitchen to wander into and graze food. So what or where do you find you have to fight head hunger the most?

Good morning (I think). I did not sleep at all last night so I am already incredibly cranky at 5:30am.

Yes, we have a big crowd coming for Easter. All of my favorite people and a big giant ham. Who can ask for anything more!? I spent the last few sleepless nights on Pinterest and I have a bunch of very fun recipes that I am excited to try :)

QOTD: I still haven't figured out what is "real" hunger and what is in my head. Ever since surgery I find myself wanting to eat all of my food before noon. I am ravenous, and almost every day I freak out because at about 11am, I look into an almost empty lunch bag and worry that I won't have enough to last me. But then I just stop being hungry again for the rest of the day! I have no idea if the hunger is real or imagined, but it's been a pattern since the day they cut me open. I have never had evening hunger at all, although that still doesn't stop me from making some terrible choices, sometimes...but it's not from hunger just from greediness.

I am going out for dinner and drinks with co-workers (old and new) this afternoon and evening. Not sure where we re going yet, so half of the day is completely TBD.

I've been Pin looking as well. My SIL is cooking. I borrowed her crock pot so I'm looking for an unexpected food in a crockpot recipe. Somehow I got twisted off to Royal Hats.I need to go to bed.

A few saturdays, I was researching a bit of home repair and I ended up losing two hours to Royal Tiaras. The internet is a dangerous black hole, lol.

They are so pretty...and so many have such interesting histories, lol. The internet can be a black hole but I am always intrigued by the people who have such a passion for any subject to create websites and such detailed information like that on a single topic.

Good morning peeps... No big plans for Easter we are going out lunch with my dad and gram and then catching up on DVR's. On Saturday we are going to bring my nieces there baskets of toys, no candy the youngest is allergic to nuts so I will not risk it...

QOTD: I have a harder time at work where there is a candy bowl and lots of other snacks. At home I can control what comes in the door but sometimes especially on weekends that is an epic fail lately...

Food for the day:

B: bacon and stick of cheese

L: chicken with cheese and salsa

D burger w/cheese no bun

Daisy have a wonderful long weekend and everyone else have a great Friday eve...

I root for all teams to beat the Yankees. I drove by Safeco field today. It looked like the sprucing up is starting.

QOD Getting off work meant smoking and eating some pastry on the way home for years. That was the reward for getting through the shift. I had to deliberately push through that every time getting off work. Deep breathing and making time to eat at work helped.

Today..sheimp,yogurt with bran, ham.,coffee, and the last of some good pulled pork.

My No sugar run continues. Less craving too.

Good morning! I'll be in Kansas City this weekend for a Royals vs White Sox game, so we're kind of skipping our traditional family dinner. It would be too far to drive from KC all the way up to my hometown just for an Easter bbq (my family does a bring-your-own-meat barbecue, and my aunt makes a bunch of side dishes).

Qotd: I eat when I'm bored, so at work I'm less "hungry" because I stay busy enough that I just don't think about it. I have had some true hunger since surgery but it's way less frequent. I still have to carefully decide if I'm real hungry or head hungry. At night, I'm the same way as you, Daisy, I want to come home and snack. Luckily, with two WLS people living here, there's not much real mischief I can get into unless I want to leave the house to seek it out, and by then I've taken off my bra anyway.

Breakfast: "Just crack an egg" Denver Scramble bowl

lunch: 2 oz apple bourbon pork, 1/4 C GREEN BEANS because I'm cleared for soft veggies!

dinner: either more pork, or deli turkey/cheese roll ups
