Good morning everyone~ So happy that it is getting lighter earlier because it makes my commute less stressful. I'm very sensitive to glare and headlights - they tend to blind me, ugh. We are planning on moving in the next year and that will eliminate my commute altogether - which could not be more awesome!
QOTD - We decorate for Halloween and Christmas - Rob is like a kid, it's adorable! I love to have fresh flowers/flowering plant and great smelling candles to fit the season all year long. While my son was growing up, we decorated for every season and every holiday, it was fun.
Accountability - I had some blackberries last night that I didn't plan for
16 mo post op - 164.4 - yay!
b-coffee w/HC and splenda, HB eggs
l-hot dog w/chili(no beans) and cheese
d-steak w/salad
v/l - on track
Have a wonderful day!

Good morning! Wow, this week if vacation is going g by quick but I have had some time to just relax which was needed. Em comes home tomorrow and I can't wait to hear about her experience.
Accountability: I had protein cake bites yesterday too and nuts that I hadn't planned on.
QOTD: I put out decorations for Fall and Christmas. We have a small garden flag that I change out seasonally. I have a few wreaths that we put out throughout the year. I would love to have my stuff organized better so I could decorate for each of the holidays. That was one of my goals had we chose to move. I wanted to have a plastic bin for each holiday. I may still do that if we stay where we are.
Menu: B: latte, eggbeaters, turkey sausage and 1/2 an orange L: carbmaster yogurt, tuna pack and low carb pita S: latte and probably lettuce wraps at Cheesecake Factory (meeting some friends for a late lunch so I'm swapping afternoon snack foods and typical lunch) D: I think I'll make spaghetti squash casserole later this morning, a small salad and dark chocolate ES: homemade Greek yogurt with SF peanut butter chocolate syrup, a few mini chocolate chips and fiber cereal mixed in.
No totals yet.
E: stairclimber and elliptical done
W/V: On track
I hope that everyone has a great day!
Hello! I am feeling good. It's my last week of working part time, and I've been starting at 10am so I can walk before work, but today the busses were cancelled due to fog, so I had to drive my son to school, then I just came into work. I will be leaving early to walk this afternoon.
Accountability: I stuck to my plan 100% and it felt good to take a step back and slow down. I just ate foods that I knew I tolerated well.
QOTD: We mostly go all out decorating for Christmas. The only Halloween decorations we do are carved pumpkins. My son also likes to put those sticky jelly things on windows for different seasons. For Easter, we dye eggs with the kids, so those go on display for a week or so, and we do an egg hunt.
Time since surgery: 4 weeks 1 day!
B: Skyr Yogurt
MS: Protein Shake
L: Red Pepper and Tomato Soup
AS: Protein Shake
S: Ground Turkey with some cheese
Will take all vitamins and water (well, I hope to get all the water in, the morning has been busy at work and I'm behind. Going to have to catch up!)
E: Walk with my mom, I've been sticking to 3KM walks.

Good afternoon menu folks! I am late checking in because I had my 6-week appointment with my OBGYN surgeon this morning. He is happy with my progress and has released me to return to the office. I have been teleworking several hours a day for a couple weeks but I'm not sure how many hours I will make it without resting. He has also released me to swim again. I am debating whether I want to go to Aqua Zumba tonight.
I also have my 1 year (actually 13-month) followup with my bariatric surgeon this afternoon. I have done well so I hope he is pleased.
QOTD: We have a variety of seasonal wreaths that we put on the door and we do inside and outside decorations for Halloween and Christmas.
Menu:
Breakfast: sausage, egg wrap
Snack: 2 string cheese sticks
Lunch: chicken breast, baby carrots
Snack: Premier protein shake
Dinner: chicken, broccoli
Exercise: maybe Aqua Zumba or some laps
