Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!
Sorry I haven't been very good about posting lately. Having my usual computer crash has really thrown me for a loop. I'm struggling to get by on Saralisa's old laptop, but it's hard to get used to.
QOTD: We put up lights and a Christmas tree for Christmas. I have a woodland bird wreath that I put on the door that works for Fall and Winter and a Spring & Summer Welcome sign with a butterfly for the rest of the year. We usually carve pumpkins for Halloween, but don't decorate for the other holidays.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 85, Calories - 1,255, Carbs - 148.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: ham & cheese on 45 calorie bread, fat free cottage cheese
D: general tso's spicy chicken
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups
E: Taking Blossom for a walk around the subdivision
Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

Good morning :)
I know this should be something we know because of all the diet and nutrition information we learn through the WLS process... But since I have been tracking my blood sugar I noticed that the only time it's "off" is after a restaurant meal. We went out for one lunch and two dinners and all three readings were higher than normal for me. When I eat at home it's all within a couple points. Just one more reason for us to focus on making more meals at home. So far the meal planning has been helping. It also helps with planning grocery shopping for me.
QOTD: I decorate for Christmas but not really anything else. I usually buy a pumpkin at Halloween. We don't carve it, and then I cook it for the puppies. In fact, I have a wreath that I got from my grandma and because I have nowhere to store it I leave it on our front door all year round lol.
Post-op three years.
Breakfast - toast with pb&j
Snack - Greek yogurt, maybe protein bar
Lunch - ribs
Snack - burger
Dinner - chicken salad
Snack - fake cheesecake
All water and vits.
Good morning! I'm here later than normal because I overslept (must have switched my alarm off?) and THEN my car wouldn't start. I'm convinced that my car didn't start simply because I slept in, because things like that always happen when you're already late.
The scale has started to move again--my "three week stall" lasted for 4 weeks. Frustrating, but I stuck to the plan, went to the gym (even if it was just to walk on the treadmill), and focused on water. I can't wait for the weather to be more cooperative, I'd rather get my exercise by digging in the garden ;) I planted out potatoes last night and some lily bulbs that I'd been saving in the freezer. My strawberries and rhubarb are coming up, and some of my perennial herbs (garlic chives, oregano, and catnip for the babies). I love this time of year when everything is "waking up" after the winter!
qotd: I don't decorate for every holiday exactly, but last fall we bought a light projector that comes with slides for different holidays. So for St Patty's day we had shamrocks floating on our house, hearts for Valentine's Day, etc. I think there are Easter eggs for Easter, but I'm excited for the fireworks projector for July 4th! I do put a fall display out with pumpkins, corn stalks, a hay bale, etc, and in the spring/summer I have all my flower pots filled with flowers.
breakfast: lots of coffee with Premier Protein. I started doing 1 cup regular, and the rest decaf. Surgeon said he was fine with 1 cup a day of regular. I'll take it! Also 1 scrambled egg and 1 chicken sausage link
lunch: deli turkey rolls. I split a string cheese into 3 strips, and rolled each strip into a slice of turkey with some Dijon mustard.
Dinner: more apple bourbon pork!

Good Morning!
Another rainy gloomy day here in SW Ohio. My stomach pain from surgery is getting better and I'm able to move around more.
QOTd: I decorate for the main holidays at the moment. I would like to do more but haven't gotten around to it.
B: Greek yogurt
L: protein drink
D: ricotta bake
e: walking

Good morning. Accountability was rock solid yesterday. The protein vs. other stuff evening snack is doing wonders. I got into 38 pants this morning. I don't think I've been a 38 since College. I'm having fun with people at work as they ask me about the weight loss. Today in the elevator a man I see every month or two asked - have you been losing weight? I replied, yeah I'm watching what I eat and I'm down a bit. My friend next to me started laughing - a bit - that's a good one. I pondered yesterday in the kitchen - there was a chocolate cake (and it looked yummy) with 3 people standing around it cutting big slices off for themselves. All of these people were 80 to 100 pounds overweight. I thought - would I have been grabbing that cake 2 years ago? Keep in mind it was 7:45 am and the cake was clearly leftover from the day before. The sad answer was I would have grabbed a piece and said I'll save it for this afternoon and would have likely eaten it by 9:30am. I'm glad I wasn't even tempted by it.
QOTD - if dog pictures, blankets and toys everywhere count - yes. Otherwise, no. We put out a menorah in December, but that's it. I do appreciate those that do decorate and kinda wish I was one of those people.
B - 2 eggs, salsa, 2 sausage
S - Fage and .5 oz nuts
L - 1/2 turkey burger and small salad
S - I'm going to try to skip this as my evening protein puts me near 100 g in my tracker
D - Chicken skewer and small salad
S - SF popsicles and 1/4 protein bar (eggface cookies)
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

G?morning all!
Accountability not good yesterday! On my way to various meetings I passed by in-n-out. I swear my car drove itself to the drive through. Got a protein style cheeseburger. When I went to put it in MFP I gasped at the amount of fat. And then I had a quest bar for sinner (I was still on the rd). Not a bad day protein wise but oh so not on plan!
QOTD: I am the wreath lady in our neighborhood. This is so funny, 2 years ago I started watching on YouTube how to make wreaths and it has become my obsession. Every single holiday big or small, I have made a wreath for it. And, believe it or not sold some to folks who saw it on my door. My family is so surprised bcz I?m not the artsy type but I LOVE wreaths.
B: protein shake
L: lunch date with DS, protein forward
S: yogurt
D: chicken skewers and broccoli
Happy hump day!
