Increasingly elevated liver enzymes

Mine were normal before and after surgery and then they about doubled. Waiting to hear from my doctor. But I suspect it's from the massive weight loss. I feel completely fine.

In a weird way I'm glad to see this post. I've had the same thing. Liver enzymes were normal pre RNY and post op but started to rise about 12-14 months post op then rapidly rise. I was 106 at 6 month post op, 154 12 months post op and then 207 20 months post op (35-122 range).

I was concerned and the doctor did an ultrasound and said it was normal and said he'd monitor it.

Perhaps I'll ask for a referral to a hepatologist as suggested by another poster.

edited to add that I just checked my spreadsheet and mine are ALK Phosphatase that is elevated with normal ALT and AST. I was told this is also liver enzymes?
