How much food can you eat at one sitting?iI
I lost almost all of my weight without eating carbs. I venture to say that these people have never actually walked this walk. When I did, I paid most attention to people who have walked the walk and have kept the weight off for years.
I was eating 1/2 cup of food at 6 weeks out. I am 18 months out now and I would not be able to eat what you are eating, unless it is cream of wheat and I could probably eat that all day. It goes right through.
You have no feeling in your pouch right now, nerves having been cut. STOP at the limit your surgeon set (although in my humble opinion, that is too much).
At this stage I would be focusing on protein. Cream of wheat and cauliflower have virtually no protein. Do you use a tracker? I use MFP and it will tell me how much protein is in a food. I aim for 1 gram of protein for every 5-10 calories, 10 being the high limit. At this stage of the game I was eating a lot of Dannon Light & Fit greek yogurt, which has 80 calories and 12 grams protein. Also: cottage cheese, cheese, any dense protein (meat) that my pouch could tolerate. I used a lot of protein powders, protein drinks.
Calories: I stayed below 600 a day, but usually was averaging 500 a day.
You can buy whey isolate powder shake mix, and use almond milk instead of regular milk if you find that you don't tolerate dairy well

In my humble opinion, that is bs. I use premier protein chocolate shakes as my creamer for coffee. I love the Syntrax fuzzy navel protein powder. I also love Unjury chicken broth protein powder. Keep trying different options. Lot of places do sample packs. And RTD protein drinks are a whole lot better than most of the crap we used to eat.
You are not a mess. Ask questions! I am still only 18 months out but you learn fast around here, or you drown.
