G?morning all!!

Exciting day for me...lost 90 lbs! 21 lbs to go! So happy!

QOTD: in DD high school we don?t have prom king/queen but homecoming king/queen which happens in Oct. One of the special ed kids put his name down as prom king. Not only I was proud of him for putting himself out I was doubly proud of the student body when the majority voted for him AND the other candidates added their ballots to his box. So I was already bawling when he became home coming king for the senior year. But the story doesn?t end there. This kid was a really good artist. He would draw gorgeous postcards. During the year he started this campaign of selling the postcards to get enough money to take all the kids who couldn?t afford it to the prom. Where I live we have a migrant community. This kid paid for all the migrant kids and he bought prom dresses for the girls so nobody was left out of the prom. He touched all of our hearts, he was written up in the local newspaper and then in the county paper. And eventually CNN interviewed him! I was so proud of him, but also of all the kids in the senior class.

Accountability: on point

B: protein shake

L: hard boiled egg (on the road)

S: turkey jerky

D: shrimps and veggie

Happy Tuesday!

Good morning everyone~ The sun is out and I have no complaints! I received a good letter from my son yesterday! He only has 3 1/2 weeks left to go at boot camp. It was pretty rough for him at first, but he is doing really well now. I can't wait to see him again!

QOTD -This would have to be my son - He has overcome so many fears and built his self esteem and confidence up so much since joining the Marines. I am in awe of his commitment and bravery for even attempting - never mind succeeding at every test, trial and challenge he has been given. Love him!!
