Hi everyone, how are you all? I am great. I had an awesome workout last night. It was so invigorating.
Accountability: I got home late from the gym and was just craving peanut butter, which I never crave as I just don't really like PB but I had a slice of high fiber toast with PB.
QOTD: The gym I go to is very cool, its very multicultural, people of all ages, people who are starting an exercise routine and lots of gym rats and buff guys. Last night there was this lovely guy who is approx. 18 yrs old, it looked like he had Down Syndrome and he was just smiling from ear to ear as he walked around the track. It made my heart smile. I loved his confidence for being at a gym where it can be very intimidating being around lots of people who are so fit and athletic. Tell us a time when you saw someone do something brave or confident and it made you smile.

Good morning!! The week is off to a good start and I'm looking forward to a good work out in a few and a productive Tuesday.
Accountability: Doing well, all required protein and fluid****!
QOTD: I have three nieces (16, 12, and 8) and I am constantly in awe of how confident and self possessed they are. I had none of their confidence when I was there age and watching the women they are becoming makes me smile constantly...of course, then they get together in a gaggle and are ear piercing and silly and I remember that they are very similar to me and my sisters at the same ages.
B: Egg bites
S: coffee with fairlife
L: cherry blackcurrent skyr (i have been haunting my local Sprouts and so excited they FINALLY got this new flavor in)
S/D Salted caramel protein testing -- I ordered the same flavor in pea protein and whey protein from True Nuitrition. I"m going to do a half shake in each for my snack and dinner and see how I like them.
Total: 61 protein, 508 cal and 25 carbs
Vitamins - I forgot to take my night dose last night so I'm a little annoyed. Thinking about moving them earlier in the evening. Morning dose is ready to go!

I'm taking Bariatric Fusion brand chewable. The strawberry ones taste like crunch berry cereal :P but they are 1 tablet 4x a day. I have alarms on my phone--I take one when I get up at 5 AM, the next at 10 AM, then another at 3 PM, and the last alarm goes off about 7:30, which is after dinner, but still a few hours before bed.
i got this bottle as a "sample" from my bariatric center and they're ok, but I might switch to a non-chewable. I'm a bit nervous about swallowing pills though, I haven't done since surgery. But non-chewables are a bit more widely available and generally cheaper

My RD said I can switch to non-chewables at 6 months, I can't wait. I've had to take a few tylenol since I started working out again and swallowed those with no problems but definitely think few more months for the vitamins, they are so big!

That's what I take also except I have the orange cream. I like most of the flavors except for cherry. Very bitter in my opinion.
The only one I didn't like was the tropical. I thought it tasted weird. I didn't mind the cherry, but not sure I could take it long term. Too bad they don't make an "assorted" version! I wouldn't mind having a variety lol
