I think that going from a distillery tour to visit some alligators is a really bad idea.

Well I have been living with coyotes and feral hogs so it can't be much different.

It was the Bayou Rum distillery. Hubby tasted I didn't but got a cute tshirt in the gift shop. It was interesting and the gator thing was a drive thru nature site. We saw 40 gators of different sizes and lots of different ducks and several roseate spoonbills and egrets. It was a fun day. Lunch was a crab burger no bun--basically a crab cake and about 1/4 c shrimp gumbo no rice.

hi all

we are leaving in the AM for the beach- an awesome vacation and I can't wait to do not much and exercise. we have hired a chicken sitter and doggie sitter (new place) and new chicken lady also. so that is what we will be doing tomorrow - it is also out 17 year wedding anniv!

QOTD: hmmm- i would not be a good landscaper, construction worker, number cruncher, librarian, teacher, sanitation worker, pest control person, serpent handler, gator wrangler, preacher, golf caddy, flight attendant, defensive driving instructor, bartender, funeral director, mayor/government office holder, telemarketer. I'm sure there are others.

Photo friday is of archie comics, granted it isn't a 'comic' like in a paper but I loved this series from a very early age and collected them along with my sister.

dr appt went well-= she basically thinks my liver is behaving and functioning properly and feels the NASH liver disease will resolve itself over time. Ran more bloodwork in the meantime.

Food for today:

decaf/PP creamer

salad/chicken leftovers

protein cake

not sure on dinner need to pack and drop off garbage/long story...

Good morning,

I don't know really what I have planned for the weekend, I know I'll go see my dad though. My friend might need me to watch her grandkids because they closed on a house and might be moving.

Accountability I didn't eat anything I planned yesterday. I didn't eat breakfast because my friend was taking me out to lunch and it would be too close together for eating. Then she changed her mind where to eat. I had breakfast for lunch. Then dinner time came and was hungry so we stopped at Logans, I had fish , coleslaw and fried pickles. Then my friend offered me ice cream. I stayed away from the rolls. I was low on protein so I made me a protein shake before be.

Qotd I wouldn't be good as a telemarketer or customer service rep. I don't like talking on the phone to people and if they yell at me, I probably be in tears.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D corned beef, cabbage and carrots

Have a good day

Good morning. Does anyone have a good cure for cracked skin on fingers (my nails also keep cracking and I am taking 10,000 of biotin daily). I'm putting everything I can find on this stuff, but it just keeps coming and it hurts. I can't tell if it's me, the swimming or just dry air from the end of winter. Oddly the cheapest stuff seems to help a little, but it just isn't going away. I never had this pre-op.

Accountability - still good on carbs, continuing losing, but still grazing on 100 cals of nuts at night. As I wanted more, I finally ate an eggface protein cookie last night and that really shut things down. I might make that part of my menu and see if it just keeps me from wanting to graze. Updates to come. 2 is just 1/4 of a quest bar and I really like them. They last forever in the freezer.

QOTD - I'd hate to be an airline gate agent. That job has to absolutely suck 90% of the time. The other job I wouldn't want is Donald Trump's PR person - I won't say anymore than that. But I once had an employee and we discussed the show Dirty Jobs - he'd beat Mike Rowe. He said he had to work a summer removing cow hides from their storage area in Texas and move them into trucks for final processing into leather. They had been stored for over a month in the middle of a Texas summer inside boxcars sitting in the Sun. I'll just say lots of Vick's under the nose and Maggots and leave it at that - fill in the rest. He did say the money was almost worth it - two week's work paid for an entire semester at College.

Post-workout - 1/4 quest bar in form of protein cookies

B - 2 scrambled eggs and 2 turkey sausage

S - 5 fl oz Fage; .5 oz mixed nuts (almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds)

L - 3.5 oz turkey meatloaf and small salad

S - Quest Clear

D - Small salad and 3.5 oz of Costco chicken skewers. The dogs like me eating these because I eat 1.5 skewers and they get the other .5 as a snack. Very happy dogs in my house post surgery.

S - eggface cookies - 1/4 bar and 1 SF popsicle

Comics - I'll say I like "adult graphic novels vs. comics" - I'm a Walking Dead fan - watch the show and read the comics. It's like reading an alternate universe as some Characters are still alive on each of the two and others are dead. Here's a clip of the Season 1/Book 1 opener

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)
