Justice is doing great thanks! He is a bit more than halfway through his heartworm treatment and seems to be feeling really good. He would clearly love to be able to run around or take a long walk, but is still activity restricted for another 13 days. Justice also has made it very clear that he plans to stay with us! He loves to sit in a lap whenever possible. He recognizes the sight and sound of the car so when I come back from errands he gets all excited.

Good morning menu folks! Happy Spring and here comes more snow! It is calling for anywhere from 5-8 inches here which will be the most that we've had all year. I am really worried about how we are going to dig out since I still can't lift or even push the vacuum cleaner. I've texted a few people including my yard guy and I am crossing my fingers that it works out okay.

I've been doing alot of walking and not sure whether I will try to weather the rain, sleet and snow to get out. I hate feeling house bound but I don't need to fall and tear anything internally.

QOTD: I haven't had any RH or dumping since surgery. I was diabetic before surgery and would get hypoglycemic sometimes. I do get really ill from anything with yeast in it and from rice. I swell up and wish that I could vomit it out because the pain is horrible.

Menu:

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham, plain oatmeal

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, apple, almonds

Lunch: shrimp, broccoli slaw

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, cantaloupe, cashews

Dinner: Roast beef, cauliflower, blueberries

Exercise: I'm not sure whether I will go out or not

That's why I don't eat rice. I don't even think about if being a food.

Hi All!

well feeling a bit better today - YAY! Maybe I can even go to Aqua Zumba tomorrow night! (I'm having lunch with the instructor - and a mutual friend of ours - today). Weather is clear here, but still too cold. I'm so ready for spring!

QOTD: I've never had either. I suppose I could still develop RH, but I'd probably know if I dumped by now (I kind of wish I did, but no...)

2 years 9 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, homemade blackberry/blueberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

L: ?? something protein forward. The place we're going is an a la carte cafeteria type of thing, so there should be a few good choices

D: (chicken) taco meat with the fixin's

ex: yoga if I'm not still too achy (although it might help with the achiness...)

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. Happy first day of spring - it was 15 this morning, the poor geese are so confused! I am exhausted this morning - all my fault. I have a new addiction - Designated survivor - I stayed up until 12:30 watching season 1. Love that show.

Accountability was good, though I added a choclate chip cookie. Have you ever had the cookies from a Doubletree hotel? Joddie found a copycat recipe and made them last night. I had one and asked her to hide them, they were so damn good.

QOTD - NO RH episodes for me, I have had some severe tummy issues when I consume sugar alcohols, but that is another story...LOL

B - Hard boiled egg

S - Fage 0% with blueberries and almond butter

L - Cabbage rolls

S - Ham/cream cheese/pickle roll up

D - Chicken,spinach and mushroom bake -

E - gym night- 2 weeks left on my current training program

Stay healthy my friends, Mike
