Did they get your computer working? Mine was still somewhere between our corporate office and my office when I went home; I'm hoping it will be sitting there waiting for me when I get in.

Yeah, it was just a matter of IT granting me access to our network, the problem was that I go in before IT is here, so I had to wait for someone to be here to help. Smooth sailing after that!

Good morning! Worked kinda kicked my butt yesterday even though my job is not physically demanding. I skipped the gym and went to bed at 8. Wow!
accountability: I've been planning "three square meals" like my surgeon wants, however I usually forget to eat lunch (yesterday I just got distracted with work), and end up just eating an early dinner. I'm having a second protein shake before bed to compensate for protein when I do this. My husband said our nutritionist will tsk tsk me, but what are your thoughts? I think as I get further out and don't feel like I need to focus as much on getting water and fluids in, I'll remember to take a lunch break.
two months ago I'd never forget to take my lunch break!
Qotd: no experience with RH, just diabetic lows. I haven't eaten anything carby or sugary since surgery. My worst diabetic low happened at the gym and I lost control of my legs on the treadmill and fell off. I just suddenly got dizzy and felt like I couldn't move them. The staff helped me up, and I was really confused. My husband was there though, and he tested my blood sugar with my machine, and had me drink a protein shake that had carbs (for the body builders) and I was fine, though sore, about 20 minutes later.
Menu today:
breakfast: cinnamon bun protein shake
Lunch: about 1/3 C of "pizza casserole" I had frozen. I browned Italian turkey sausage and turkey pepperoni in a skillet, and added pizza sauce and mozzarella. (You can add other veggie toppings or whatever, I'm just not on veggies yet)
dinner: 1/4 C leftover turkey taco meat with cheese and sour cream
another protein shake at night if I need it

Oh, I'm definitely not straining myself, and I'm taking breaks, and drinking water, but I usually just end up going to visit with coworkers, and not actually eating my planned food. I think in my head I'm still waiting to be hungry for lunch, even though I KNOW I won't be hungry.
I spent the last 6 months trying to train myself to only eat when I'm physically hungry, and not out of boredom. Gah!

Morning all. It was warm enough to wear capris and sandals yesterday to work after spring break. I'm looking forward to spring weather full time!
Accountability. Did great yesterday. Couldn't eat all of evening snack but made goal for protein and fluids. Trying to plan meals better. I am doing the treadmill 3x wk and walking more.
No RH or dumping. Too afraid to eat sugar (only 3 mo out). I can eat small amounts of fruit without issues. More trouble with eating too much too fast with pain and am working harder to slow down. Chewing fine just not waiting between bites. Patterns of behavior are hard to break.
B. Protein waffle 2 strawberries sf syrup
S. Protein drink
L. Meatloaf ( from eggface recipe but used half turkey half beef) yellow squash
D. Lentil soup and cheese wedge
S sf pudding
Hoping y'all have a good day

I don't know if it will help you but I'm also a good chewer but fast eater -- since surgery, when I eat, I turn on the stop watch on my phone -- if i feel like I'm eating to fast, I make myself wait 3 minutes by the stop watch between bites! Since I'm still on very few ounces per meal, I also make sure I stop when I'm full or at 20 min if i'm not done. Seems to help a lot! (Interestingly, because I am a chatter box, I noticed that when I'm eating with some one, I eat slower because I can't put food in when I'm getting words out, lol).

Good morning! Spring is never spring in New England (as JB can attest to). It was hot and humid here in Florida last night but a changeover to cooler temps (low 70's) and less humidity is coming today. We go home for 2 days next week so hopefully there are no storms then.
I was upgraded to walk more difficult dogs at the shelter yesterday and checked in with them about Justice. They know we are going to adopt her so just have to finalize everything when his treatment is done in a couple of weeks.
QOTD: Luckily I don't have RH or dumping (I have VSG). However, too many carbs or sweet stuff does make me feel gross for quite a while, as I remembered after eating the whole piece of coconut cream pie on my birthday.
1 year, 11.5 months post-op
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Fish - probably either talapia or salmon
