A Mexican place in my hometown serves lengua tacos--cow tongue tacos. I was hesitant, but I actually liked it a lot!

Good soon to be afternoon. Weekend was pretty good, with only a few off-profile items. Swimming was a bit nuts yesterday - I think there were 16 people swimming or trying to swim when 9 or 10 fill the pool. Was a bit tight, but got the workout in thankfully. My CAMAW continues, though I carbed up a bit yesterday by having some oatmeal mixed with protein powder for breakfast. I do like that on Sunday - it's a nice treat. I only eat 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Funny how small meals at restaurants now last over two or three days. My wife eats oatmeal everyday and I gave her about 1.5 cups to take home that I had portioned off before I started eating. The great news is that overall I lost just under 4 for the week, so two good loss weeks now. The grazing is also really very different now. Really small and just things like a bite of cheese, etc. I'm trying to completely eliminate it for this week. I've also learned that I'm becoming really sugar sensitive, not sure it's RH as the symptoms are just a little pain and bloating for about 30 minutes to an hour. I'm glad though that I'm getting this symptom. It is making me stay away from sugar things as I progress. I was reminded of this because my wife had her birthday yesterday and the restaurant made a special desert. I took a modest bite and by the time I got home wasn't loving the feeling. So definitely reinforcement to not eat the bites of stuff and to really stay away from sugar in any concentration.

I will be driving hard for goal over the next 2 to 3 months. I just had my pulmonary follow-up and I'm so close to eliminating my autocpap machine. I only pop a little during REM now and really just a bit. So the technician thinks the last 20 pounds should do it. I'm giving myself until June/July to get this done and get the at home sleep study done.

S - Fage and .5 oz nuts; tiny scoop of PB protein powder added for taste

L - Leftover chicken from yesterday and small salad

What did bear taste like?

The bear was sweet. You can tell he or she was eating a lot berries that year. Their meat tastes like what they eat.

Guess I'll stay away from those bears picking over semi rotted salmon.

I sure would like some sushi. It's not allowed for me. I've always taken a bite of whatever was served me. The worst thing I put in my mouth was fermented "stuff" from Nepal. My friend grew up in Nepal and was so excited to share it.

Today,

latte, yogurt with bran, more taco meat, and spinach with some cream cheese.

You could eat sashimi... it's served without the rice.

I love sashimi and it's an excellent post WLS food. I am immunosuppressed so it's on the no list. I'm supposed to eat steak well done but I have not been compliant. I moved from rare to medium rare. Well done steak is not worth eating
