Mornin' All!

the weekenders on here know that I had my Reclast infusion on Friday and had some bad side effects from it. I was in the ER most of Saturday morning and could barely get out of bed yesterday - I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. Today is better, but I ache from head to toe. I now remember feeling this way some mornings when I was SMO. I'd forgotten all about that. I'm SO GLAD I lost all that weight!! How did I put up with that for so long? Hopefully this current bout of aches will be gone in another day or two.

accountability: I didn't eat much this weekend because I just didn't want to. I felt like crap. Weight is down this morning, of course...

QOTD: I can't remember anything that weird. I'll try anything EXCEPT weird meats. I like to stick to the standard ones. I did have eel when I was in Japan, though. And I had escargot once. When I did volunteer work in Africa many years ago, my hosts really wanted me to try caterpillars. It was a local delicacy. Nope. I brought a jar of peanut butter along so I'd have something to eat if caterpillars were ever on the menu. UGH!

2 years 9 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with homemade blackberry/blueberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

L: 1 C chili

AS: L&F yogurt or 2 T peanut butter on celery sticks

D: ?? we have a committee meeting at 6:30 at Panera Bread, but I might eat taco meat before I go

Good morning!

It's back to the real world here, March Break is over, the son is going back to school. I'm going back to work part-time (luckily from home this week).

QOTD: I honestly don't know. I've never been the most adventurous eater.

Im 3 weeks out as of tomorrow.

B: Yogurt

S: Premier Protein Shake

L: Soup with protein powder

S: Not sure, we are having leftovers, but I'll probably have an egg.

I might switch out my lunch and supper meals. I'll also have all vitamins and water and hit my protein goal.

Good morning Daisy and Menu folks - we had a good weekend, went to Montreal on Saturday and out to dinner at St Hubert- I had chicken and honey and herb roasted root veggies....very good. Yesterday I went to the gym and did groceries and then came home and helped Joddie clean and do food prep for this week. I also did some Binge watching of " designated Survivor" - Thanks for the recommend sheilah - I love it.

Accountability - not great - I had a Hot dog and a few bites of Poutine at the soccer game on Saturday and some sweets yesterday. Back at it today.

QOTD - I went o China/Hong Kong for 2 weeks in Novemeber - several restaurants you view dishes and choose and then the server brings them to your table as they are ready. I chose one that happened to be pig intestines...when I chose the di****hought it was chicken. Picture 1 is how you choose your food and pic 2 shows the pig intestines on the plate, they were very chewy, yet tasty. LOL

B - protein bar

s - fage with blueberries and almond butter

L - chicken with mush, spinach and mozz cheese

s- ham/cream cheese/pickle roll up

D - cabbage rolls

E - Gym night - my lower back/butt has been bothering me from my injury...will keep plugging away at running. and do arms as well.

Stay healthy my friends, Mike

It was good, different but good. I could tell by the expression on my hosts face that I was eating something out of the norm for me. They had to google translate and show me what it was on the phone. I ate more after knowing what it was. I tried to immerse myself into the chinese culture while there.
