biscuit mix and carbs are flour.
They are fattening.
I put the recipe into MFP. According to another recipe I found online, this will make 8 servings. You were better off with the whole wheat flour you edited out before you added in the biscuit mix. 55 calories per serving ( 1 piece of bread ) with the flour versus 61 calories with the biscuit mix.
Yes, it's low fat, but it's got 11.4 g carbs ( with flour ) and 11.3 gr carbs per portion for the biscuit mix version. That's quite carby-not to mention that biscuit mix is highly processed.
For someone who isn't at their goal weight, or for anyone less than a year out or so-this is not an ideal recipe. It's not even that great a choice for people at their goal or years out.
This would not only give me wicked RH, it would make me want more carbs, which of course would bring on even more RH.
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

Just because it's "fat free" doesn't mean it's good for you, or a good choice for a WLS patient.
