Morning weekenders!
late start posting, sorry. The dog was extra antsy to get out for a walk this morning, so I started with that.
Whats everyone doing today? I'm mostly relaxing and laundry I think.

Good morning! Relaxing and reading here today, as I go back to work tomorrow. My surgeon gave me 4 weeks, and this last week was almost too much--I'm definitely ready to go back to work and get into the swing of things and back into a routine.
Qotd: I'm currently reading the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Mass. they're categorized as "young adult," but I find them to be a bit too mature for that category. But also not sure I'd put them in with adult fantasy/science fiction either.
Breakfast: 1 piece of bacon, 1 scrambled egg (I dont eat the whole egg when I have bacon with it)
MS: protein shake
lunch: 2.5 oz shrimp ****tail, 1 tsp ****tail sauce
dinner: 1/4 C turkey taco meat with a sprinkle of cheese and 1 tsp sour cream. Probably also a little hot sauce.

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D corned beef, cabbage and carrots
Have a good day
Morning!
I spent most of yesterday morning in the ER because of that bad drug reaction (Reclast - for osteoporosis). I had chest pains, but my heart was fine - they think it was just muscular. Feeling a bit better today. Hopefully I'll feel like myself again by tomorrow.
QOTD: I'm kind of between books, but I should pick up Sam Quinones' book again (Dreamland) - I never did fini**** and it was pretty interesting.
2 years 9 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, blueberry/blackberry sauce, coffee with half & half
I haven't felt like eating the last couple of days, but we have a lot of taco fixin's that we need to eat, so probably that if I'm up to it..
there are oral ones, like Fosamax, but my PCP didn't want to give me that since I've had RNY (although my bariatric surgeon said it should be OK). Someone said they have a monthly injection, too, that I may be able to tolerate more easily (Reclast is given once a year). I'll ask my PCP about that one - although at this point I'm set for the whole year. Feeling much better this afternoon. Not 100%, but I've definitely turned a corner. YAY!!
QOTD: I am reading s book called intuitive eating. Not sure it?s 100% for us, but it is about dealing with the brain, and God knows I need my brain dealt with. Working with a nutritionist who gave it to me.
B: usual latte, Greek yogurt, crushed pineapple, flax
L: at a pampered chef freezer workshop w/WLS peeps
D: chicken, salad
snacks: pb celery, cake bites, ??
Ex: at home weights
eta: I haven?t read a book in forever, amazing what a difference a new pair of glasses make.
