New and needing friends.
Hey,
I feel really good except I feel so tired. I decided to get the RNY because I have PCOS and my surgeon said it would be the best surgery for the insulin resistance. I haven't seen a ton of changes yet. I have just mostly los****er weight I think. I would say the tiredness is the biggest thing I noticed. The incisions did not hurt at all so that was good. I hope your surgery goes really well. What suregery are you getting?

I'm 3 weeks out and have found lots of support on the site, though not always what I want to hear. But there is a lot of great info, I also recommend the Eggface site there's a really good recipe for Ricotta Bake, kind of like Lasagna without the meat and noodles, really yummy, after the first couple of weeks I was really craving "tasty" food.
Watching your quantities and carbs is the big thing, measure, measure, measure, I know it sometimes looks like you're hardly eating anything but, it can be incredibly easy to eat just a little too much and feel awful.
Good luck and welcome to the losers bench.
