New and needing friends.
Hey everyone,
I am new to this site, 13 days post op and needing support and friends. The only people that know I've had surgery are my mom and my sister. I would just love to meet some people that are supportive and could help me with questions and accountability.
Thanks for reading,
Setfreestephie
Welcome! There is a ton of great information here, dig in and start reading! There is a daily menu thread where people post their meals, you can get an idea of what they are eating, both right out of the gate and later.
I chose to be open about my WLS but many people do not. I live in a small town without a support group, so I get a lot of support here on OH and whenever I have questions I come here.
You can also search for anything you particularly want information on. Most quesrions have been answered many times. There is a search box somewhere up there at the top of the screen ;).
Welcome!

Welcome! Check out the "what's on your menu?" Daily thread to see what people are eating at different stages. It's a great way to get to know everyone too :)

Welcome and congrats on your surgery!
Lots of things to learn and figure out after surgery. Don't get discouraged we are here to help and support. The Veterans (Vets) here on OH are amazing, I attribute my success to listening to the Vets and taking in all their advice and support.
You are welcome to join us on the "What are you eating today RNYers," I post it daily from Mon-Fri and its a great way to see what people are eating and getting meal ideas and meet some wonderful people and make friends.
I highly recommend you check out a website called "The World According to Eggface." This lady had surgery many years ago and she created a website of recipes for all stages of WLS and its wonderful. I used her site a lot and its so great to get help with ideas from fresh post op to years down the road.
Ask question here if you need, use the "search this forum" for things like protein shakes, three week stall, constipation, vitamins. Those questions have been asked a billion times over the years.
I had RNY surgery just over four years ago, best decision I ever made.
Best of luck!
