Afternoon everyone! I got my day off and running, literally. My phone fell out of my running belt and cracked-- grr! Partially my fault cause I've been carrying it w/out a case and I didn't check to make sure it was tucked in the belt properly. It cracked under the screen protector-- grrr! I have insurance but it's no less annoying.

Qotd: luckiest thing that ever happened was when my son was chosen for a charter school. Charter school entries are lotteries, and the good ones are huge odds. He was three weeks into a public school we all hated when we got the call his # was picked for a charter-one of the best.

A toast on my father's birthday. I miss your humor.

Revision on 02/19/18

I slept in my bed for the second time since the revision a month ago. It was...utterly glorious. I've got a new job soon, hopefully, that I'm pretty excited about. We will see how the rest of hiring goes.

Technically I can eat all foods, but Harvey Jr. (pre-revision he was Harvey) is a grumpy stomach, and could really care less about that. I am simply taking my time and really not pushing it. The nutritionist said I could start making hot and sour soup again (I have a lovely low carb recipe) but I am still going to be cautious with spice for a while.

I do get drastically low blood sugar when I use whey protein by itself so trying to balance that out has been...fun.

M1: 30g premier shake blended w/2 strawberries (to off-set the dumb whey protein)

M2: greek yogurt (12g protein)

M3: 2oz cod

M4: 2oz cod

M5: Going to try an ounce of chicken in greek yogurt which is the highlight of my weekend. Yes, my life is exciting at 40, why do you ask?

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
