Accountability: A couple of pieces of unplanned jerkey last night, but other than that good.

QOTD: No food allergies, fresh cut grass makes me sneeze but I think that's pretty typical - don't suffer like a lot of people I know, one known medication allergy, other than that I'm good. Sometimes I wish I was allergic to anything sweet.

B: decaf with chocolate protein drink for creamer

L: left over shrimp

S: pickled eggs

D: baked ricotta

S: clementine

E: Not today. I do best with exercising in the morning, but I haven't been able to get up in time thanks to daylight savings time. Maybe tomorrow :(

Good morning :)

Oooo so I decided to try some no sugar added ice cream last night. I was having heartburn and i thought it would feel food. On the last bite I knew it was going to come back up. I never eat it but my mom (who also had WLS) is visiting and she can eat it. She can handle the sugar alcohols with no issue. Oh man. Lesson learned.

Today I have an ultrasound. Bladder and baby are not cooperating so I'm sitting in the waiting room sipping water and trying not to pee myself.

QOTD: I have a few allergies and they have changed over time. Last test I only showed positive for dust mites -- evil little things. Sometimes I have trouble with animals, but I'm good if I wash my hands a lot. My pups don't cause me any problems :) I also have a very strange allergy to something used in canned spaghetti sauce and BBQ sauces. I get a rash around my mouth and a weird little cough. We can't figure it out because it isn't consistent.

Post-op three years.

Breakfast - wrap with pb and SF jam

Snack - protein bar

Lunch - leftover fajita insides

Snack - apple and cheese

Dinner - sausage and veg

Snack - pudding (no more ice cream)

All water and vits.

Good morning. Doesn't it figure that I'd use the official CAMAW week (yes I know I doubled week) as a dry run! I had the best CAMAW day yesterday. I really do like eating this way. I think I'll see how 6 days CAMAW and then pre-dinner carbs once a week goes (I want to avoid carbs in all cases at dinner and later). I like having Sunday breakfast with my wife, where we go out, talk and read the papers, etc.. I especially like to try different oatmeals at various local restaurants along with scrambled eggwhites. I usually only eat half and my wife eats the other half. I also add a half scoop of Quest protein powder to make the oatmeal less carb spike causing.

QOTD - yes, I am allergic to dust and dander (yes, I have two danderous dogs). Life if about trade offs and that one is so worth it. I have to take daily Claritin and Flonase due to the allergy and a deviated septum. Seems to be okay with that on my daily meds list.

B - 2 1/2 scrambled eggs with pam and salsa; 3 turkey bacon

S - Fage, tbs protein powder and .5oz mixed nuts and seeds (I put a ton of cinnamon in the nuts - goes great with my yogurt, but makes it terrible to graze on during the day - perfect cure for me).

L - I lied I found some more thai food from Friday, so the last of the thai chicken salad for lunch today

S - Ostrim buffalo stick and .8oz cheese

D - Chicken kabob and small salad with mustard and balsamic dressing

S - SF popsicles

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

QOTD: When I was a kid they did allergy tests and I tested positive to being allergic to many things and took shots, but I don't really pay attention to the foods any more. Good morning! Sorry about the power outage, Daisy. That doesn't sound like a fun way to wake up :-/

accountability: I broke my final (7th day) of CAMAW around 4 yesterday when I went out to a meal with a friend. I ordered the tuna tar tar and it ended up coming with little wonton chips too sooo naturally I gave in and had a few. Oh my god! My stomach hurt so bad a few hours later. At first I thought maybe I had gotten food poisoning from raw fish, but now I'm thinking it was the little bit of chips.

qotd: I never used to have allergies. Then it all began about 6 years ago and gets a little more intense over time. Meds don't seem to work for me, but there's an otc nasal decongestant that helps so much.

B- two slices of bacon, coffee with 2 tbs cream (eek! It just sort of happened haha)

l- syntrax

d- a made up chicken curry (I have no idea what I'm doing)

s1- Greek l&f

s2- trying to avoid this one

v- patches

e- dog walk, treadmill

Daisy, here's a home cured bacon recipe that hubby and I are going to try with our new sous vide cooker (we just got it yesterday so we have no idea how it'll turn out lol) I wonder if there's a way to make it healthier though. Any idea? Will definitely let you know if it turns out good! https://youtu.be/ooX-9M4W4K4

Good morning everyone!

I had a rough night last night. seems like right after I said I rarely have a hard time sleeping, that middle of the night insomnia thing hit me again! My daughter woke up at 2am and was knocking on her door like it was time to get up. I had to go tuck her back into bed and then i laid down and could not fall back asleep. pretty sure i dozed off around 5am and then alarm went off at 6...it was not a pretty morning...but hey, at least it wasn't Snowing! that, I am very thankful for.
I hate winter time and If my family would all agree to move somewhere warmer, I'd be gone in a heartbeat...My parents bought a house in Az to be snow birds last year, but I just can't seem to convince my siblings, and I don't want to be too far from them.

QOTD: I don't have any allergies really besides Penicillin and another antibiotic called Ceclor...found out when I was a child due to having many ear infections/surgeries and recurrent strep throat til I got my tonsils out at age 12. I take OTC generic Zyrtec for hayfever/seasonal allergies but I havent taken it since i started my pre-op diet about 6 weeks ago and I seem to be OK for now. I will probably need to start again come spring.

B: egg salad w/light mayo and Dijon
MS: caramel Premier protein
L: Homemade cheesy chicken enchilada soup
AS: BabyBel cheese
D: probably something leftover because they are piling up in the fridge! maybe meatballs.

have a great day everyone!
