hi all

yes i have allergies, my head is currently swimming along with my throat. I just put some nasal spray in hopefully that will help. have saline upstairs at house to use.

DH and I were hit head on by a drunk driver in 2001. Had to cut john out and he ended up with back surgery. I ended up with 2 bulged disks and cracked ribs.

it snowed here until noon yesterday- very unusual-and melted right off by 2 pm.

yesterday I left work after 5, went to dunkin and got a SF iced coffee while i waited for crossfit to start. it was great fun but hard and we did upper body. i feel it today, already. weight is down a little (only a pound). I did get my body fat percentage tested at the gym on saturday and looks like my overall body fat has gone down several points since Dec when I had the dexa. Will have another full dexa in april I think. I bought the certificate last night. I may challenge myself and wait until may though since that will be 5 months.

OH!- for those with a kroger might go check their markdowns in the produce isle. I got 4 bottles of bolthouse farms for .39 EACH! balsamic! and some of those suja vinegar drink for .89, then I used the Ibotta app coupon for .95 cash back each twice. So they paid me to remove them and put them in my belly.

Food went really well yesterday.

food for today:

salad with chicken (can) and bolthouse dressing

protein cake (ran out of my low carb bagels :( )

not sure on dinner supposed to drive to support group but now I'm not feeling it.

That is terrible that you had to experience the impact of a DD first hand. Was that the start of Johns back troubles?

It has started bothering him before but this did him in. the guy was 2x the legal limit and had a liquor bottle in his vehicle. ran and the search and rescue dogs found him a mile down hiding in a gutter. Valid insurance, minimum coverage, and fake DL...

Good Morning!

I'm doing ok this morning. Snow-supposed to get 10cm. Not terrible but I'm ready for spring. I'm also tried, but that's nothing new. I wanted to cry when the alarm went off this morning. But I didn't. I am here at work. With a very FAKE smile on. LOL

I'm on an assignment for 10 months. I HATE it. I want to go back to my job, but if I cut it short it looks bad on me. So I'm suffering through it. Not sure why I am doing this to myself. But I am. For now. Subject to change. Yesterday was a horrible day. But I survived.

Accountability: It was fantastic. Yeap. I ate EVERYTHING. If there was food that wasn't glued down? I ate it. I cooked up a storm last night to prep for the week, but I ate everything in between. I ate a BOX of Kashi Dark chocolate mocha bars. A BOX! (5 in total) that was my supper? Jeeesh. Plus all the tastes when cooking. OMG. I am so embarrassed. They can't be in my house. I was so embarrassed and mad at myself I signed up for 6 races over the summer. One in May, June, July, August and 2 in September. Cost a small fortune but I need the accountability. ARGH! A WHOLE BOX?? On the plus side shouldn't have any bathroom issues today? HAHAHAHA. Sorry. TMI.

Menu:

Breakfast: tea with restoralx and premier protein

2nd Breakfast: 2 breakfast sausage links

Snack: If I can-may be in a meeting. Skyr yogurt with protein powder and flax seed

Lunch: Crackslaw--hamburger meat fried with cabbage and onions and soy sauce

Snack: I'm in meetings so I doubt I'll get anything. I have 2 quest bar cookies that I made. (Cut a quest bar into 8 and bake) so if I can sneak them I will. Side note: I made them last night BEFORE I decided to eat a box of granola bars. Cripes.

Supper: Chicken with ranch sauce and 2 slices of bacon

Snack: NONE. Trying to cut out the night time snacking. if I'm really needing something? Protein drink. I have a new powder given to me as a gift. Red sweedish berries So I will try that.

Exercise: Tonight it's strength and cardio. My own program.

Have a great day everyone!! Hopefully I can get back on track. My house is a clean zone, so really I should just stay there and hibernate!! LOL

A BOX! A FULL BOX of granola bars? Seriously? How is that even possible!! 1/hr all night long. I have issues. Clearly. UGH.

Just re-set yourself. Today is a new day. Give yourself some guidleines for the future as it can happen again. I have trained my inner voice when I am grazing - " Measure Mike", "Only one serving Mike", "One at a time Mike". it seems to help me. Figure out what works for you. You got this.

I love the quest bar cookies and make them often.

MANY of us have been there, done that. I absolutely agree that we just have to reset ASAP (the next morning for me when I weigh - and I ALWAYS weigh no matter what even if I'm scared to death). Press Reset/Restart and move on!

I feel pretty comfortable saying that we've all been there at least once. Whether we want to admit it or not lol. Try not to be hard on yourself (easier said than done, I know). It happened, we can't go back in our time machine so we just gotta move on and keep trying to make good choices. I had to go through my cabinets and get rid of a ton of stuff this weekend. If it's in the house then I will eat it before I even realize what I'm doing. Don't beat yourself up. Dust those granola crumbs off and keep going, my friend! You've got this!

Good morning!

Blew it yesterday. I'm not doing to dwell on it; I'm just going to move on. Back on plan today!

QOTD: Not that I know of. A couple of days after I went on ursodiol, though, I broke out in hives. The PA at the surgeon's office immediately suspected the ursodiol since hives are a potential side effect, so he told me to quit taking it for a couple of weeks. So I did. After the two week hiatus, I gradually went back on it. No hives. So God knows what was going on (with the hives).

2 years 9 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 2 T homemade cherry/cranberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

L: turkey taco meat, lettuce, tomato, salsa, Greek yogurt

AS: maybe a L&F yogurt, if needed

D: taco bar at a meeting. I'll have the shredded chicken and the veggies, maybe a couple of tablespoons of refried beans. No tortillas.

ex: cross-trainer
