Not bad for a Monday

2 days short of a month since surgery - approved to go back to work on Monday, allowed to move to from purees to mechanical soft foods and 23lbs down. Not a bad day at all!

Nice! Go slow when advancing your diet. One new thing at a time, and make sure you tolerate it well. Some folks dive right in and wind up regretting it.

Thanks Grim! I have a friend coming to stay with me for a few days and I don't want to make myself feel bad while she's here so it's going to be slow and cautious for me!

You Congratulations! You are doing wonderful! Enjoy your friend visiting!! Maybe pick up some thinly sliced cold cuts and for lunches while she has a sandwich you can enjoy some cold cuts. I am the thin sliced deli girl!!! I drive some of the deli people nuts as it seems not all of them can slice it thin!
