Maintenance and ummm... gas
Some fruits give me wicked gas, others - not so much.
Google FODMAP diet. Fruits high in FODMAP give me really bad gas.

While you're figuring out what the culprit is, get some Devrom (available online). It's a fecal deodorant. I chew 3 or 4 tabs before eating and it takes the stink out of the gas and feces. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
And, yeah, sugar alcohols such as malitol, sorbitol, artificial sweetners, will definitely cause "digestive distress".

The only time I have problems with gas is when I eat too much sugar/carbs.
Not sure what kind of fruit or how much you are eating -- but I would imagine that is the culprit
