What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
Good morning! No plans for today, but we ended up doing a lot of running around yesterday so I'm fine having a "lazy day" today.
QotD: this is a hard one! I associate music with people and memories a lot, so I'm going to pick two. I associate "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" by Backstreet Boys with every middle and high school sleepover because that was our JAM. And "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down was the first song on a mix CD my now-husband made for me when we'd just started dating. We were set up by friends but we lived in different cities so we dated long-distance for a little over a year before I moved in with him.
breakfast: scrambled egg with cheese
morning snack: protein shake
lunch: tuna packet (I can actually eat the whole thing)
Dinner: I swapped my chicken idea last night for half a turkey burger patty instead, so maybe I'll do the chicken tonight.

I think so too, and it might help that I choose "saucier" ones...some of them are dryer

I'm three weeks post-op. Hopefully after this week I'll be on solid food again...we'll see how the nutritionist goes. Wound up with a wound infection, UTI, and non-infection bronchitis post-op, so, that could have gone better. I still feel 100% better than pre-op since I have no GERD so I'd do it all again in a heart beat.
M1: 25g protein in water.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much...the life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully. -- Seneca, On the Shortness of Life
I have my revision surgery this Wednesday and I'm so ready for this GERD to be gone!
