Good morning! I hated the dark this morning and stayed in bed longer than planned. Tomorrow will be tough.

QOTD: "Bye Bye Miss American Pie": Obviously this dates me, but I remember playing it super loud and singing while driving around my friends during my Junior year in high school. I was the first of my immediate friends to have a license.

1 year, 11.5 months post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: turkey pepperoni or sliced turkey

D: something out of the freezer (?)

S: maybe prosciutto mozzarella stick, maybe Yogurt

Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!

Going horseback riding today instead of yesterday because yesterday a strong wind came up and it clouded over like it was going to rain so we put it off until today. I'm looking forward to riding today!

QOTD: The whole album of Meat Loaf's songs that my friends and I listened to on a road trip out to Colorado one time. Also, I have always loved the song "Dancing in the Moonlight" by King Harvest. It just makes me feel happy and free whenever I hear it.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 119, Calories - 1,355, Carbs - 107.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: hamburger

D: a microwave meal of some sort

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups

E: horseback riding

Have a GREAT day everyone!

I've always loved "Dancing in the Moonlight", too - it was playing on the radio just the other day while I was driving, and of course I cranked it up!!

Mornin'!

Woke up naturally at 7:00 this morning, so hopefully it won't be too horrible getting up at 6:00 tomorrow. I hate this spring change - I like it being light later, but getting up is a bear the first few days!

I'm leaving in a few minutes for my yoga studio. They have a (vegan) cafe in there, so I'll drink coffee and read the paper, then go to my meditation class at 10:30. I have to do some work for an organization I'm in this afternoon (mailings - ugh), then I have Aqua Zumba. Meeting some friends at a Thai place for dinner.

Accountability was OK calorie-wise yesterday, but weight was way up. Salt. I had two cheese sticks and a beef (jerky) stick for lunch, and grilled fish tacos for dinner (the seasoning on the fish had salt). Ugh. Lots of water today!

QOTD: I love, love, love Celtic folk music, so I would have loved that Irish show!! The song that immediately comes to mind is "Danny Boy", because my father loved that song and told us numerous times that he wanted it played at his funeral, so we had someone sing it at his memorial service last year. She had an angelic voice, and it was truly the highlight of the service - the only time I "lost it". Anyway, my sister had a youtube version of it posted on her Facebook yesterday, and I clicked on it but then had to stop it after the first few seconds. It made me too sad :-(

2 years 9 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder and 2 sliced strawberries

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

L: ?? maybe leftover fish tacos, since fish doesn't last more than a day or two, and we're going out to eat tonight

AS: crustless protein pumpkin pie

D: dinner at the Thai place. I looked at the menu. One of either of these two appetizers: green papaya salad with a skewer of grilled shrimp, or flank steak sauteed with scallions and served with a chili-lime dressing

ex: Aqua Zumba

Morning RNY'ers!! So I took a tumble on the smallest patch of ice this morning as I finished my run. My right hand and knee broke my fall and are bearing the pain. I can't grasp with my right hand- you take that whole grasp thing for granted until you can't! My knee is just scrapped. Glad tomorrow is a rest day!

we were practically zombies yesterday- we did so little. I decided next weekend We have to get out of the house so we'll be checking out a new place in Delaware. No plans today either.

Qotd: anything reggae, preferably by Beres Hammond will put me in a fond memory zone of growing up and my love of my West Indian family/culture.

m2: turkey burger/baked fries
