CAMAW/AMAW Over (3/5-3/9)
Unfortunately, yes...
It's very hard for me to cook for us now too because I used to use cheese/milk in a lot of things. Now I will make something like my meaty baked ricotta and just immediately measure it out and freeze it so I can eat it at work.
It took some time, but now, if he accidentally eats something with dairy in it, his face almost immediately turns red and he says it burns.
The friend's cousin also had acne and it stopped after she gave up dairy.

I lost 1.5 lbs, but I was kind of stalled (3 weeks right in schedule), and CAMAW is pretty much the only thing I'm currently allowed anyway this early on. So basically, my only adjustment was eating MORE food than I've been eating all of February on liquids so...hard to say if that loss was from CAMAW or just what I would have lost anyway because of where am in the process. It will be interesting to do this as I get further out!

I was reminded so much over the past week. I have been letting snacks (that I was calling OK) into my life when I really didn't need them.
Pork rinds, nuts, beef jerky, bites, licks, tastes... and alcohol.
I lost a little over 5 lbs (146.4 down to 141.2), and I'm very happy.
I need to reel in mindless eating... it's so easy when the honeymoon is over!
Thank you! I need this in my life more often (but it seems I can only do this with a contest, not on my own!)

Oh, the fresh ones are the best! Luckily though, if you can resist them for just a few days, they get stale much quicker than the commercial ones ;)
I found the fresh chicharrones at a local mercado... and those have become my nemesis... there's something about that extra fat added to those that gets all fried and yummy that I have a HUGE weakness to. I haven't bought any lately, and I really hope I don't! LOL

I had the best week since my post-op honeymoon period! I lost 4.6 pounds, and had no issues and very few cravings. Since it went so well, I'm soldiering on with the goal of All Meat All Month.
It's definitely easier for me since I live alone and can just keep temptation out of the house. We'll see if I can pull it off - seems like a smart thing to do now that I've gone this long. Thanks for letting me play :)
Liz Thank you for organizing CAMAW/AMAW - I had a good week, I was down 3.8 pounds. Saturday I split a Piece of Cheesecake from "the cheesecake factory" restaurant. It was awful after a week of no carbs!
