CAMAW/AMAW Over (3/5-3/9)
The "official" challenge ended at end of day yesterday. So send your results/comments and I will post the winner next week. I'll put up another reminder on Monday for those who don't read on weekends, but you only need to reply once.
Of course anyone is free to continue eating that way if you wish...

I was down 3.2. Happy but some night grazing of nuts and cheese cost me my 4 pound goal. I'll keep working on it this week.
thanks for coordinating

I lost 9.4 lbs this week. I had people offering me cookies and chips but I stayed on plan. There were a few days I didn't eat all my meals. I know I should continue to eat this way but I miss my apple and vegetables.
Hi Liz, thanks again for organizing this. I was on CAMAW and I went down from from 179 to 174.2...for a total loss of 4.8 lbs!
Have a great weekend.

I was 100% compliant to AMAW from M-F. I lost 3 pounds, and decided to re-examine my relationship to cheese going forward. I think I need to limit it a lot more than I have been. Great week!
Hi Liz..thanks so much for organizing the Amaw/CAMAW 5 day program... I dropped 4.8 lbs. Total in the 5 days. I'm with JB on rethinking the cheese...except for the Volpi I get at TJ's that I will use as an occasional snack ...I'm probably going to eliminate cheese and no more eating after dinner...no scheduled snacking after dinner....jus****er... looks like there were lots of successes. ...all is good
I did CAMAW and did not weigh or measure myself because I'm home for break and didn't have my body scale.
I only ate off plan when I had a pop and whip cream on my coffee.
However, some thoughts: I think I want to cut back on dairy. I love love love yogurt. It's my morning staple. But I found that I was breaking out really badly towards the end of the week. I think it's because of how much dairy (mostly cheese and yogurt and whey protein shakes) I was having. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to cut out certain dairy products. I can give up the cheese pretty easily. But the idea of not having my morning yogurt is really a bummer. Then I have to ask myself, should I be this dissapointed to give up my yog if it's not benefitting me or worse--hurting me (acne)? Should I be this attached?
Siiiigh. We shall see. Maybe just less dairy?
So interesting thing for you. My husband found out about 5-7 months ago that he's developed an allergic reaction to dairy.
His side effects? Acne.
A friend told him about a cousin who found out she was allergic to dairy, so my husband decided to give it a try.
His face stay clear as long as he stays clear of dairy (butter is OK).
Just wanted to throw that out there for you. It's made a HUGE difference in my husband's life.

Oh man, as much as I hate to hear this, it is super beneficial. I have a feeling that dairy is my issue as well .
I rely pretty heavily on my whey protein shakes to hit my protein goals. Do you know if your husband has problems with whey based protein shakes too?
Thanks for your wisdom :)
