Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!

I'm assuming yesterday was the last day of AMAW / CAMAW? (If it runs through today I will adjust my menu). I weighed 142.2 when I started CAMAW and today I weighed 138.6.

Weekend: I am going horseback riding again this afternoon. I am looking forward to that!

QOTD: I was an art major in college and specialized in watercolor paintings. Here are a couple of my watercolor paintings. I also have a way with animals.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 129, Calories - 1,225, Carbs - 61.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: hamburger, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: rib-eye steak

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups

Those are gorgeous!! I paint with oil and acrylic but can't do watercolor to save my life. Everything ends up looking like kindergarten art projects :P

Thank you very much, Cassie. I put off taking Watercolors in college until I absolutely had to because I was convinced I couldn't do it. I had a wonderful Watercolor teacher who allowed me to paint with watercolors very controlled instead of more fluid like most people do. He encouraged me and I ended up doing my Senior show in Watercolors. He was an awesome teacher!

I?ve thought about getting some watercolors just to play around and see what I could do, but with such limited space and 3 cats, I haven?t gotten ANY of my paints out in years. Honestly, I might need to purchase all new someday when I paint again, they?re probably all dried up :(

When you get some watercolors, be sure to get tube paints. I was trying to paint from dry cake watercolors and the tube paints made a world of difference! I actually haven't painted much for many years. I seem to need college class deadlines to make me sit down and do it. I would really like to get back to painting again.

I feel exactly the same! I actually stopped painting after my ex husband ridiculed me for wasting my time after I had gifted him a painting. The painting went under the bed and never saw the light of day. It crushed me.

This was the painting. His last name was Lyon: https://cassandra-lynn.deviantart.com/art/Lyon-76342364

lol that DeviantArt account is ancient and that was the last thing I uploaded. I don't even remember the login information.
