Approved!!
Hello, I joined obesity help on Saturday. Been looking for a good support group as I go through this journey and have really been enjoying the posts, information and support.
I called my insurance company yesterday to make sure they received my paperwork from the surgeon's officeoffi they told me I had just (the previous hour) been approved!
Today my surgeons office called. I go in next Tuesday the 13th to meet with him and schedule my surgery date - provided of course that I haven't gained weight and have been compliant.
I'm so friggin excited! I can't wait to continue down this road of health and weightloss. I'm sure I'll have dozens of questions and thoughts as I go along. Feeling grateful to have a group like this available.
Congratulations! And nice to meet you Nancy. I am new here myself and should be scheduling my surgery for the end of this month as well. Waiting for the call as my insurance docs were just sent yesterday. I am very excited too! It is nice to read all of these posts. I find that the closer it gets the more I want to know and know others who have gone through it. This will be a great support!
