Good morning, CAMAW day 2

Stayed on track!

QOTD: I agree with the early darkness in the Fall being depressing, but I love when it stays light longer during summer evenings. I guess I have mixed feelings...

Good morning everyone! Today is going to be a great day!! I am training a new assistant today. I also gave my notice at my evening job. I'm feeling really good about it. I'm exhausted this morning, but it's supposed to be 54 and sunny today.

I rocked AMAW yesterday.

Plan for today--

4 oz black Forrest ham

3 chicken skewers

poached halibut

chomps at work

stay strong.. we are worth it!

Good morning! We have some blizzard-like conditions in the area so I plan on staying warm and snuggly indoors today.

Qotd: I feel like the purpose for DST is outdated so it's no longer needed, so if it were abolished, I would be happy. But as long as we have it, it's just a minor adjustment. I do hate how early it gets dark in the winter though.

breakfast: scrambled egg

B2: protein shake

lunch: 2 turkey meatballs with a tbsp of spaghetti sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese

AS: I made some instant pudding with protein powder

dinner: 3 deli ham slices, 1 slice of Colby jack

Morning all you Protein lovers!

Work is so crazy busy! I'm enjoying it though, just makes it hard to get on here as much :(

QOTD: I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to Daylight Savings time! And I think, once we change the clocks forward an hour, we should leave them there forevermore. I get so down and depressed during the longest days of darkness, and I think that if it were dark early in the morning, versus in the evening, I would get through Winters much better!

I had a GREAT food day yesterday, adjusted a little bit, but entered everything (including my half and half) and came out at 847 calories for the day. I was so pleased with myself!

Today I don't have a picture, but here's what I have planned. Yesterday I didn't need a mid-morning snack, so it worked well. I'll add one, but hopefully won't need it again.

First thing: Coffee/decaf/32ounces/2T half and half and SF syrup

B: 3 ounces of chicken leg grilled meat

S: 3 ounces of boiled shrimp

L: 3 ounces of grilled chicken breast

S: 3 ounces of grilled pork chop

D: 4 ounces burger/ .5 ounces of cheddar/ 1T mayo 1t mustard

S: 1 carafe of decaf with 4T of half and half

I remember one year back in the early 70s we stayed on DST all year long for some reason or another. It was pitch black when we walked to school in the morning. UGH! So even though the time change is a PITA, it's probably for the better.

Good Morning! Sun is shining today and it's my 14 year wedding anniversary. We don't have anything planned for today since we made our coast trip over the weekend but we decided that next year we need to do something big since it will be 15 years.

Accountability: I ate some peanut butter sandwich crackers things last night.

QOTD: I don't think it's really necessary anymore and seems to cause my internal clock to be messed up for a few days so I think it should go away. What I find crazy about it is that some states don't even have it! That makes scheduling meetings with my coworkers in our Phoenix branch interesting since half the year we are in the same time "zone" and the other half we have to sync our calendars/time.

Time since surgery: 3 years 6 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Mr Cheese O's and Carbmaster yogurt

D: Homemade smoked sausage, cauliflower "mac" and cheese, and two squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF jam and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1192 Protein:110 Carbs:71 Fat:54

Have a great one!
