Feeling light headed
Yup, run it by your doctor, but I also remember being light headed for several weeks after surgery.
Keep working to get your fluids in, and remember, you've been through a pretty major surgery, it takes time to heal, and only 6 days out isn't long.
Hope it starts to get better quickly for you!

Try all kinds of fluids at a range of temps! Hot tea, decaf coffee, crystal light, Gatorade (the zero cal varieties**** cold, room temp, etc. I found that one day I wanted ice cold drinks and the next I could only tolerate hot tea.

Absolutely tired and lightheaded can be you are dehydrated. But also remember you just had MAJOR surgery.
Expect to be tired up to about 3 months post op.
You HAVE to get your liquids in, its hard, I remember being in tears some days when I was a fresh post op, I felt like I would never get past those first few days where it was so damn hard! But it does pass. This time next week you will feel even better, each day it does get better.
Lightheaded is lack of fluids and the sharp decrease in your caloric intake.
As for liquids...
water - any temp - figure out if you like it cold, hot or room temp
tea and decaf coffee if approved by your centre
diet fruit juice (must be diet) and mix with water 2:1 so two parts water to one part diet juice
SUGAR FREE popsicles
Protein shakes, milk based ones like Premier Protein or water based ones like Syntrax Nectar
Broth or Bone broth
Go slow if you have too, right now liquids is priority #1, food can wait. Let's face it as a post op we all had lots of fat stores for our bodies to live off, you are not going to starve if you eat barely any food and concentrate on your water.
Best of luck, it does get better
