Happy Iditarod - the mushers are off! Starting my first AMAW today and looking forward to getting the carbs gone! Today's plan follows.
QOTD: My dear Daddy was an iron-monger as he called himself; pipefitter/welder whose passion was his hand-made wrought iron. I lucked out and he made me not one but two pieces that I cherish; in particular I love the quilt stand he designed and made for me because I enjoy quilting. Growing up, we lost everything, and I mean everything, that might have had familial sentiment in our house fire..so something like this is wonderful to have.
Breakfast: Black coffee, Country-style pork sausage (2 oz)
Lunch: Poached chicken breast (4 oz)
Dinner: Brisket (3.5 oz)
Snack: Moose meat, ground (3 oz)
TOTALS: Cal 570, Carb 0, Fat 24, Protein 74
All the water, all the vitamins, 45 min weight training, 45 min run.

Made it through day 1 of AMAW! Yay us! I jumped off the carb wagon and onto something even more delicious. I love these Denver Steaks!
I don't know if I have 1 favorite thing. I have things that the children made me that are about 40 years old now that I have a death grip on so those are probably them.
