What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Good morning! I'm sorry you are dealing with migraines. The only time I had them was in my 40's when my hormones were fluctuating a lot before menopause. Maybe talk to your doctor about that?
I LOVE that tablecloth! I have some quilts which my great-grandmother made with my grandmothers name embroidered on one and my mother and uncles on the others.
QOTD: My most prized items are the antique ring (see below) which belonged to my grandmother and was given to me when I was 12 when my father died, and the diamond studs I always wear which were my DD's (we had given them to her on her 30th birthday and she always wore them).

Good weekend. Saturday I did my first crossfit and it was no joke. wow. it was hard. ladies in the class were dead lifting 53 pound kettlebells on EACH SIDE and carrying them 7 times the length of the room. time the 7 rounds. it was crazy- i was sitting there at 20 pounds per side. the pushups were the hardest for me. the rest I could deal with.
then I ran a few errands and came home and worked in the house
Sunday we sold our beloved vintage camper to a really nice lady who loved it! We still have the motor coach and once the house is done, we will work on that and start to take it places. After that we had lunch (burger/cheese and broccoli) and therapy for me. It went well and was a beautif weekend weather wise.
I ate pretty darn well this weekend.
Going to try body pump today at 5:30 at gym (they gave me a 3 day pass so taking advantage of it!!).
Food for today:
leftover bbq or roast/collards
decaf with Prot powder
protein pancakes
gelatin concoction
thats about it folks
Great job with the crossfit.

Good morning! I go in to follow up with the surgeon today. I spoke with his nurse on Thursday for a few questions but today I'm curious about my official weight. I did finally crack and weigh myself at home and I do believe I'm going into my 3 week stall, right on schedule :P
QOTD: I'm not emotionally attached to much physically, I just have never been sentimental about items or nick-nacks. But I did have a book published in 2005 and I signed and dedicated one to my grandpa Jack. After his death, his sisters sold and donated all of his stuff before the rest of the family had a chance to go through and keep anything sentimental. Three years later, a friend of mine asked about my book and ordered a used copy from amazon (as its out of print now). It was shipped from California. When he received it, he called and asked."Who is 'grandpa Jack?'" He had received the copy I dedicated to him when the book was first published! My friend returned that book to me and it's kind of sentimental/a good luck omen to me.
Breakfast: Premier Protein
B2: scrambled egg with cheese
lunch: cottage cheese
dinner: shrimp or tuna
evening: maybe another protein drink. I was under yesterday

I love that story - it was fate that returned your book to you (maybe your grandpa in heaven guiding it?)!
