I remember those first few weeks well. Stay hydrated plenty of liquids. Feeling tired is very normal. Make sure to get all your vitamins, protein and liquids. One day at a time, hang in there.

I recall two moments when I was newly post op where I had a wow- that made such a difference in how I felt. Once was when My sister forced me to take a walk outside (I had only been walking around the house)- the other was when switched to drinking ice cold water (vs room temp).

walk and water is my advice. You'll start feeling better!

You will feel better.

Keep coming here for support.

People here actually understand what it is like to have WLS. Anyone who hasn't doesn't have a clue.

Feel better soon.

It does get better

We are surgery twins! It is hard, but you can do it.

I was choking down water and then mixed a Crystal Light and loved it and had no problem sipping away.

I also hate the premier protein, but i blended it with extra protein powder and 1/2 banana and ice and it's much tastier.

Hang in there. It gets better but I always felt post surgery that the exhaustion was the hardest part of Gastric Bypass Surgery. Took me 6 months to fully get past the exhausted feeling. More exhausting then any surgery I had experienced before. Keep walking as much as you can and drink water. Take your vitamins. It goes away but for me it took longer then most. Then suddenly your body adjusts and that phase is behind you. Stay positive and know it is temporary.

You already got all the advice you need. I just wanted to wish you well. The hardest thing for me was the first 2 weeks of protein shakes. They made me feel so sick but it got better!
