Karen, is there a beauty or hair styling school near where you live or travel to?? My mom does this, the students are learning but the instructor never leaves their side. It's salon quality product at a great savings.

The one that was near us closed last year. And regular salons are so pricy. Honestly I have better results doing it myself than the last few times I had it done in a salon. Cost so much and didn't seem to last as well either.

Happy Saturday!

I'm getting ready for a shadow experience that I have starting next Monday. During my spring break I will be shadowing a school social worker! Pretty excited. So today I'm buying a few professional clothes, getting my hair, nails, and brows done, and meal prepping!

QUOTD: I'm thinking I'll do lots of eggs, yogurt, some vacuumed sealed tuna, and some chicken with sf bbq sauce. I don't mind boring meals.

Accountability: yesterday and today have been good!

M1: 1/2 Atkins shake (I decide to experiment and try something other than my premier---hated it lol)

M2: 1 egg over easy, little gyro meat

M3: 1/2 premier (aaaah my true love)

M4: 1 egg over easy, little more gyro meat

M5: not sure! I may have a small handful of blueberries before CAMAW starts. We shall see!

DH and I are co-chairs of an organization that had a big brunch meeting/presentation this morning, and we had a lot of stuff to do before it started, so we were out the door by c. 6:30 am - so I never had time to post.

I ate the french toast at the brunch. I haven't had French toast in years. Should have stuck to the eggs and bacon. That French toast sat in my stomach for hours like a rock, and it was 300 kcal I didn't need. Ugh. We were home by 1:00 and have done pretty much nothing all day. Meeting my mom and brother at a coffee place tonight - it has live music on weekend nights.

QOTD: I don't do this but I think I might try lowering my carbs this week.

2 years 9 months out (today!):

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1 T tahini and 2 T cherry butter mixed in

Br: coffee with half & half, one piece French toast with 3 T maple syrup, one scrambled egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1 C mixed fresh fruit

AS: L&F yogurt with 1 T tahini mixed in

D: three turkey meatballs with 1/2 C marinara sauce and 1 C zoodles

Revision on 02/19/18

I'm only 12 days post-op from the revision, so not sure I'll get enough protein from purees yet to do all meat. Aiming for about 110/day on average, which I've stuck to pretty consistently. Most is still from isolate, but starting to add food in slowly. I'm not tolerating chicken or eggs so well which happened the first time around, so I'm unsurprised. I'll try beef this week.

30g premier protein

1/2c Ricotta with one ounce of melted skim mozzarella (divided into 3 meals)

1 Light & Fit Greek Yogurt (toasted coconut, no solids)

1 scoop unflavored IsoPure

1 scoop syntrax nectar

Total protein: 109g.

I had about 79oz of liquid (primarily water, and 11oz of RTD shakes)

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Fish like salmon, tuna and tilapia did the best for me at first. You may want to try that. I liked the pouches of tuna and salmon because they were soft and moist.
