Morning weekenders! We got hit with wicked weather yesterday- so unfortunately no run today. Looks like 3 inches of snow- we were only supposed to get a coating. I'm deciding what I will do. I usually rely on SWORKIT- but it's been making me hurt pretty bad afterwards so I'm inclined to skip today, o feel a bit achy as it is. I'm gonna looks through the App Store for different workout apps, hopefully that focus on Pilates.
Today my oldest turns 15! Amazing that I've raised another functional human to this age! His pick for dinner is Buffalo Wild Wings. Id like to find nice cupcake for him, in lieu of a cake- since cake isn't in my plan right now. that's my only plan for today. No plans tomorrow either.
Accountabilty: yesterday I went out to lunch with a new employee. I ordered and ate sensibly. But I was in proximity to a market where I used to get these killer Apple dumplings. Decided to try it. My RNY anatomy said nope- hell no, we don't do this anymore. I felt awful. I trashed it and dealt with the consequence. So long, sweet apple friend!
Qotd: not doing amaw/camaw. Rooting for all of you who are!!
208.8 today, 2.10 year out
m1: egg/egg white, ham, turkey sausage
m2: 4.2oz bourbon chicken chunks and salad
m3: protein bar
m4: out- gotta look at thier menu. Likely a salad.

I always go when Im in Philly. Once or twice a year. Bread pudding from Becks, sticky buns from Beilers, the apple dumpling, stuffed pretzels from Millers. That whole corner of the market is just amazing.
Happy weekend everyone!
No plans today. Bought a new Dyson, was the deal of the day at Lowe's earlier this week, only $200!
B: English breakfast tea, Premier shake, vitamins
Mid morning: Starbucks coffee; plain
L: Trip to Costco (insane on Sat, I know) getting a roast chicken, try to only sample acceptable foods. Looking for new items. May just wing it and get sushi. Vitamins.
D: Probably the Costco roast chicken and brussell sprouts. Vitamins.
S: Quest Bar.
I'm feeling a bit bloated today. Any suggestions?

Saturday's are a glorious invention! Yay! Have chores to do today, leaving on Wednesday, for a long weekend for my 60th birthday, so have to do laundry, clean house, pack. Then tomorrow after church, we are going to my sister's for a family birthday dinner.
Accountability has been a little, meh, but not too terribly bad. Been over my calorie count for several days. Need to reign it in. Going to be a challenge this week to avoid birthday cake. Have family dinner, friends, office, etc. A minefield for sure. My husband knows I've got to stay away from sugar, or crack, the same to me, but he had a cow when I said no cake for when our friends come over for my birthday. I'm like, really? "LET THEM EAT CAKE, at their own home, lol!
Have a great weekend!

We are going to an art/craft fair this afternoon then probably out to dinner with friends before the wife flies home to New Hampshire.
Other than that, we are just adjusting to our new foster dog who is doing great so far. Super affectionate and easy at least for the first day.
QOTD: I will probably have a lot of fish and turkey. I do CAMAW because I can't live without my eggs and cottage cheese mostly. I may get some great pulled pork from a place here where you can eat in or buy it by the pound for takeout.
1 year, 11 months post-op
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: sliced turkey and cheese
D: Fish of some sort (out to dinner)
S: maybe prosciutto mozzarella stick, maybe Yogurt

Good morning! I'm driving up to my hometown today to hang out with my grandma, mom, and aunt. Having a "girls night" aka my mom and aunt want me to color their hair.
my cousins came into town last night and asked if I'd be up to going out with them to eat, and I said yes, if only to socialize. I did order a very basic taco meal--ground chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans. I asked for no rice or veg, and I dumped the taco meat and cheese out of the shells. I'm still a bit nervous about chicken since I know people have trouble with it, but beef isn't on my plan yet. I mixed the chicken up with the refried beans, portioned off a couple spoonfuls to the corner of my plate and asked for a box for the rest of my slop-looking mixture. The waiter was pretty dumbfounded and kept asking if everything was alright, and I just vaguely said that it was delicious, but due to a medical condition, I can't eat much at one time. What I ate went down without issues, and I have leftovers for the next several days! Whatever I don't eat by tomorrow night I'll probably toss since beans aren't CAMAW and it's all mixed together. My mom was worried about "what to feed me" while I was home so I'll just take that.
Qotd: probably a lot of fish and shrimp, honestly. I feel a bit gun-shy of denser meats like chicken and pork yet, and my doc is having me hold off on beef. I'm doing CAMAW because this early out I'm still needing shakes, and eggs and cottage cheese go down well.
enu: meeting a friend for coffee this morning before I hit the road. I'll probably do a small sugar-free nonfat decaf something.
premier protein on the road
lunch: 1/4 C chicken/bean/cheese mix
dinner: same
probably another shake before bed

If I come over will you color my hair. Hubby used to do mine but started complaining so now I do it myself. That's on the plan for Monday before we leave on our adventure Tuesday. We'll be spending 3 weeks working at Uskichitto Retreat Center in LaBlanc La then moving to the OutdoorWilderness Learning center in Dubach La. We'll be cleaning and painting and getting facilities ready for campers this summer. Our second was to have been in Tennessee but that was cancelled due to not enough volunteers interested so we switched to another group. I should have wifi at both work sites so will get on when I can. QOTD not participating but cheering for those of you who do. Post op 5 years 6 months and weight at 119.4 today. Lily and I got our 4 miles in already and I'll do another after supper. Accountability was good with no extra bites and walking done. Heres the menu B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 31/2 oz ground beef and cheese 1/2 c green beans D 4 oz pork patty 1/2c broccoli S 100 cal serving popcorn. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!
