snack food
I'm the same way. Give me a "healthy" low calorie alternative and I will quickly consume so much of it that it is no longer low calorie. I have discovered all chocolate items (brownies, cookies, ice cream) are strong trigger foods for me.
I like edamame with shells (the shells slow me down and trick my brain to think I'm eating more), spicy pickles (the spicy keeps me from over eating), cheese, and pumpkin seeds (which are high protein and low carb, these are my preferred movie theatre snack, I'll sprinkle a little pumpkin pie seasoning on them and pretend they're kettle corn lol) and a lot of the things others have mentioned. Broccoli with a little nutrional yeast is always a go to. I also adore sliced red peppers with cream cheese and everything but the bagel seasoning from TJ's. Olives are good too! Green ones are generally lower calorie, but I enjoy the higher fat content of the black ones.
