I had a lot of luck with salmon in the early days. I liked the salmon in a pouch with a dash of lemon. Also Trader Joe's has frozen tuna and salmon burgers that are great.

Good Morning Everyone!

Weirdest scar.....I don't really have a cool story. I had an arm lift and those scars aren't great...add to the fact I got a major infection and they had to do emergency surgery (about 1.5 months after I had the arm lift), so the scar is even wonkier :( Not ideal, but hey I don't have crazy bat wings anymore either, so I choose to focus on that :)

Time since surgery 4+ yrs

B - Jimmy Dean sausage & veggie frittatas

L - skinless boneless jamaican jerk chicken breast & roasted asparagus

D - Poblano chicken fajitas (just chicken & veggies) w/ avocado

S - if necessary string cheese

Workout: 20 min spinning (I got up and worked out before work in the first time in over a year...and it felt great!...well once it was over, lol)

Vit: On track

Have a great day everyone!

G'morning all.

I swear Quest bars are my kryptonite. I'm going away for the weekend (work related) so while I was at TJ I picked 3 bars for just in case the food is too carb-y. Last night I walk into pantry to take my vitamins, not hungry, and I see the bars sitting there. It's like I almost blacked out, I come to that I have eaten 3/4 of the bar!! WTH??? I was so mad at myself.

QOTD: I have a scar on my knee and it's all my little beother's fault. We have a pool that had these iron spouts sticking out all around. It was for fountains so at night when we turned them on with pool lights. It was really nice with water like fountain and the lights when we had garden parties. I don't think those things would even be allowed nowadays but hey...so I'm on my knees at the edge of the pool talking to a friend who was in the water, my brother comes from behind me and pushes me in the water. Wouldn't you know that iron thing goes right in my knee? But the funny part is that we didn't make a big deal out of it. Went back into the house, got changed and started watching some show on tv. I put a bucket under my foot because it wouldn't stop bleeding but never occurred to any of us kids that this might not be good. My grandma came to check on us and freaked out and took me to ER. Got about 5 stitches. To this day when we are in the water (and my knee shows) my brother tells everybody the story of my scar and takes pride in his role in the story! :-)

Accountabilty : see above - quest bar :-(

B: protein shake

L: no idea - protein forward

S: yogurt

D: Crockpot Mexican chicken

It's almost Friday!

Hello menu peeps,

Accountability I was good on my eating.

Qotd I cut the top of my nose on a broken glass pop bottle that was in this pit, I was walking around the outside of it and some how fell in. My mom and I were at the laundromat when it happened. We went to the drs but he didn't stitch it up. I had to hold my head back if I was sitting up or lay down. We had goulash for dinner and trying to drink my milk was hard. The grossest one is from my broken hip from a birth defect, I was cut in two places but the top one is wonky from gaining weight.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D going to Logans, steak, salad and grilled mushrooms

Have a good day

Happy Thursday. We are in the midst of setting up for fostering a doggie undergoing Heartworm treatment starting tomorrow (Justice). If all goes well, we may adopt him after the month of treatment.

QOTD: Interesting question! I guess mine is the scar on my heal which resulted from walking barefoot in a stream while fishing when I was about 9. I stepped on a can. I had to get stitches and a tetanus shot and walk with crutches for two weeks which happened to include our family vacation time camping. Not fun...

1 year, 11 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Emiepie egg salad (HB egg and cottage cheese)

D: Not sure...

S: maybe prosciutto mozzarella stick, maybe Yogurt

Afternoon Menu Friends!

Accountability yesterday was bad. I got called by the dentist at 7:30 that they had an opening for my end of April appt to work on my crowns that are loose so I booked it over there. I didn't eat beforehand b/c I was already planning on doing my first set of post-op labs. So after being at the dentist for 3 hours, I went and had my labs drawn but my mouth was so sore I didn't eat much at all yesterday. So I woke up this morning starving.

QOTD: I only have scars from my torn ACL repair, carpal tunnel surgery and my RNY. I'm not a very exciting scarred person.

B-Premier Protein

S-1/2 tuna pouch mixed with mustard and light mayo and pickles

L-Met my husband for lunch at the chinese buffet. I don't like chinese but its in between our jobs and a fairly quick place to get in and out. I just had some pepper chicken it was called.

S-Ham/Pickle wraps

D-Turkey burger for me, hamburgers for the rest of the crew.

Hope everyone has a great rest of their day!

Hi everyone,

QOTD: I have scar in my left eyebrow line. When I was 8 or 9 years old my cousin picked up a rock and threw it and I was in the line of fire. I got a 7 stitches and the dr told me it would be gone in 6 months. So much for that cause I still got it. Every time I see my cousin he still apologizes for it. I came close to losing my eye.

Accountability: On plan.

B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice of cheese

L:3 oz turkey breast

S: 2 oz chicken sausage

D: 2 1/2oz ground sirloin, 2 1/2oz ham, 1/3C broccoli rabe

S: ostrim meat stick

Cals: 93, Carbs: 5, Protein:99

Enjoy the rest of your night everybody!

My favorite scar is a small nick in my forearm made by Cleo the wonder shih-tzu about 25 years ago. We were very bonded.

Today I've had starbucks egg bites, pork rinds, diet green tea,and some pecans.

Later chicken and yogurt with bran.
