What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
I meant to mention that historically I was never hungry in the morning (pre-op or post-op) but since a couple of weeks post-op I have had a high protein/low calorie breakfast every morning and I think it really helps my daytime cravings at least.

Good morning, Daisy and menu crew! Cross your fingers for me and send me good vibes please.. Just met with a loan person to see if my hubby and I can qualify for some monies to buy a house that is everrrrything we've been looking for. I'm excited and I want to throw up at the same time. It's a little pricey but so is everything in Alaska
qotd: I have only won one award in my life. I was a national scholastic award for art that I made in my junior year of high school. There was an awkward award ceremony in New York and everything. Even though my family was so proud, I felt like a huge fraud and that I didn't deserve it. I suppose that's the artist's way though, think everything you create is garbage and constantly beat yourself up because nothing is ever good enough LOL.
b: Greek yogurt with 5 raspberries, PB
l: tuna packet
s: Greek yogurt
d; leftover pork tenderloin
s: eggs and a tiny bit of bacon
v: patches
e: 11 hour day on my feet and moving so I'm gonna skip today. Been giving myself too many excuses though so it might be time to start working out in the mornings again.
Hi everybody. Mid-morning here in CA.
My tasting last night went great. If all portions at restaurants were like this, we'd get rid of obesity. I had to taste 3 starters and 4 entrees. The 3 starters were just different kind of salads so I just took a leaf of each...not impressed. The entrees were salmon, scallops, filet mignon & vegetrian risotto. Took a bite of each (very delicious) and I was DONE!!! Not so impressed with the service at the venue so still looking for a location.
QOTD: can't recall any trophies. I guess I was always average. ;-)
Accountability : on point
B: protein shake
L: date with DS...I think we are doing Indian today. (He gets out of school early on Wednesdays so we always go out to lunch, just him & I...it's lovely)
S: turkey slices & Gouda cheese
D: Turkey meatball and cauliflower
E: 45 minutes elliptical
Happy hump day!

Hurried post for me today. Lily and I got our 4 miles in early and it's a good thing because now its raining. I'll do another mile this afternoon before we go to the inlaws for supper with our oldest son. QOTD I did win awards in 4-H: food demonstrations that went to the state fair contest and also was chosen for the state fair sewing exhibit. Post op 5 years 6 months and weight at 119.6 today--fingers and knees are swollen so I must hit the water today. Heres the food plan. Breakfast isn't oats as I went out to eat with a group from church. B 1/2 4 egg omelet L other half of omelet D 31/2 oz roast with 1/2 c carrots S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added jam. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!
Good afternoon,
My friend took me out to breakfast so just getting on.
Qotd I won medals and trophies in baton. Won medals in band. Won a coffee table at the local furniture store. Won 125.00 in a football pool.

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D ocean perch and vegetable
Have a wonderful day
Good Afternoon Everyone,
It is a beautiful day here in Maryland and I can't wait to get home to take my very active Jack Russel for a walk.
QOTD: I did earn an award in 8th grade. It was a scholarship for citizenship. I think it was for $500!

Im definitely not a hungry in the morning person. I worked so many years on the p.m. shift that my bioclock is permanently set to being a late starter. I don't have my first meal until very late in the afternoon. After that, I eat small meals every 2-3 hours or so. That covers those late night snack attacks with balanced, protein forward minimeals.
It took a long time for me to figure out what works for me. I hope your new plan works out for you too. It makes maintenance soooo much easier!
