Anyone else have lettuce issues??

I am 16 months out from RNY. I ate Caesar salad yesterday and my stomach almost instantly hurt. Anyone else have lettuce issues?? I eat cabbage and all other raw vegetables fine, but apparently my pouch does not like lettuce.
Strange. Have you tried other types of greens like spinach or leaf lettuce? I'm also wondering if your tummy was reacting to the dressing and not the Romaine.

I have tried spinach with no issues. I am now wondering if it was the dressing too.
Do you have your gallbladder? After mine was removed I can't handle certain lettuce varieties, namely iceberg. I only eat salads with spinach now.

I used to love greens. But no more. Since 2-3 years post op- my guts don't like them. I no longer eat salads or greens. It is what it is.
I get bloated and I gut cramps when I eat lettuce or like. I may like it, but my body does not.

I ( slightly ) cook my greens into what Hungarians call " fozelek" ...basically flour based roux... a ton of fresh food processed veggies and a bit of fat free cream .
Cant begin to understand why people in other parts of the world don't eat spinach or zucchini fozekeks. So healthy .. so easily digestible ... so inexpensive to make ."
I am 23 months out from VSG and can eat all vegetables except any significant quantity of lettuce. If I just have a few bites along with my protein it is fine, but if I eat a whole salad serving, my gut does NOT like it (doesn't seem to digest properly). I haven't tried spinach salad though, so I might see if that is better based on the recommendations above.
